This is the nicest upscale restaurant in our area. The food is superb as is the service. Entertainment is always enjoyable. The owner is hands on and very pleasant. Their meats are melt in your mouth delicious. Great drinks and wonderful desserts.
We have vacationed in the area as a family for many years. When we discovered Black Bear Cafe, it solved the puzzle of how to please everyone's tastes.Two all time favorites are the Shepherds Pie and Fish and Chips. The burgers are also. very good.My husband and I happily discovered that the restaurant is alive and well in August 2021-- when Covid19 is still a very real concern. Wonderful meal, perfectly cooked baked haddock, their well seasoned red bliss mashed potato and green beans. Excellent service. Judy Carswell was there singing. Enjoyable addition to our dinner experience.
