My wife and I love the Newcastle Publick House. The people are great and last weekend our son and his wife joined us at NPH to celebrate his birthday. The folks at Newcastle did an awesome job. We had a wonderful evening. Also, our son and daughter in law said they had a fantastic time. Thank you to the great people at NPH for a wonderful evening.
Amazing vegetarian/ vegan options. Vegetarian French onion soup and vegan meatloaf with onion gravy were stellar.
We are Newcastle residents who have been away for a few years. Decided to give an old favorite a visit: How disappointing. Husband ordered burger which was fine (but not $19 worth even in this economy). My Chicken Piccata was not so good - tasteless and super dry chicken. But when we got the check and saw a “Kitchen Surcharge” of $2.07, I called the waitress over and inquired what it was. “Oh, an extra tip for the kitchen” was the reply.
