I loved the simplicity of the interior of the store and the quality of tea was top notch. However; I was most impressed by the command of knowledge and professionalism of Alexandra. She greeted multiple guests coming in to simply browse—fielding challenging questions by seemingly discerning clientele. She took her expertise of tea product and brew technique to greater levels of nuance with a pressing customer while making others feel un-ignored simultaneously. By the end of my visit the tea aficionado came away with his exacting tea needs, the browser purchased something new and adventurous for herself, and I purchased my requirement of a good quality Green. I’ll be heading in again—making the drive from Boothbay Harbor—for my green tea goto and picking Alexandra’s brain for new teas to try.

Sampled some Masala Chai @ Boothbay railway village today —- delicious flavor & not too sweet!

They have an amazing selection of tea and do tea tasting and are very helpful
