Great value. Food's not bad. Service is excellent. Homemade pies and pastries up front. Grab one on your way out! We ate here a few times over our 4-week stay. One of the best places to eat in the little town of Newport.Nothing fancy. Just a surprising hidden gem.
We went to this gas station restaurant because we were shopping nearby and because it is that rarity: a restaurant open on Mondays. In fact, being a truck stop for gas and convenience items, the hours are listed as 24/7. We parked in a handicapped stop to try and save my wife from having to get her Walker out to use, it due to the gas pumps near the entrance,even the handicapped spaces are a walk to the front door, so that when we left I went to the car first to fetch the walked...read full review

I live 2 hrs from my granddaughters, I picked them up, for the weekend. I had had a positive previous experience. This time, I experienced multiple tables on the opposite side of the restaurant that arrived up to 20 or so minutes after us, and they were served 5 to 10 minutes before we were. When my youngest granddaughter notices, I really take note. We were there for over an hour and a half, and those people that arrived after we did left before we were even served our dinners.
