Delicious food for a decent price, very close by to South Ridge lodge and a great atmosphere. Will be coming back again for sure!

I've tried a lot of the other places (but not all) on the Sunday River campus, and I have to say this place was the first place to be priced well.I felt like paying $25 for a massive bowl of rich Mac n cheese with buffalo chicken was very worth it.The beers are all $9+, but I definitely recommend the Barker 6 amber ale.The only quirks about this place is that you have to seat yourself, and go up to the bar to order food and drinks. They will still bring the food to your table. It's also maybe a 5min walk from the South Ridge lodge. If you can get over the quirks, then I believe you'll have a great time and a delicious meal!

This place SUCKS! Though I can’t comment on the food… I’ve been here twice but never got any. After finding your way inside (which isn’t easy), no one greets you and no one seats you. No one brings you a menu or takes your order. You have to find your own table, find your own menu, find your own silverware and napkins, and figure out how to place an order. It’s like going to a food court, but blindfolded. F this! Lost patience and went and had a great meal with great service at Sunday River Brewing Company. Don’t waste a minute of your time here.

Beer is good! Food is ok when you’re hungry after a day of skiing but ordering both food & Drinks at the bar creates a real bottleneck. This place could be way more efficient by simply having 3 or 4 servers work tables.

We stopped in because we saw it had 4.3 stars and that was more that the other restaurants nearby. All of the tables were dirty but they cleaned one when I asked them. I had to order at the bar and they brought the food to the table when it was done... that was fine. I ordered the burger which was probably the worst burger I've ever had. Ready made beef patty from Restaurant Depot or another food service company, "Brioche Roll" was cold and the whole thing didn't have flavor. Fries were OK but they were standard precut frozen fries.. can't screw those up.. After I left, I realized why people go there... They go, they let their kids run around in the arcade, drink until life becomes numb and don't care what they're eating. If that's what you want, then this is the place to go. If you want to have a good meal and unwind, I'm not sure there's anything near Sunday River that fits the bill. I will edit this post after I try another restaurant tonight that was highly recommended but has fewer stars. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Not joking.**** Update: I found a good place… Millbrook Tavern ****

I think we walked in on a funeral. Had to go upstairs in side door, which was ironic, as we parked in the disability / wheelchair spot, as I’m disabled. Wide long staircase, no elevator. The place was dark and musty. Sign at the top of staircase said “Seat yourself”, “ order yourself at bar” . Wow. Young kids were playing pool. EVERYONE in the place, the 4 little kids playing pool, the 8 customers drinking or eating at the bar, and the bartender just stopped what they were doing and stared us. Dead quiet, they continued to stare. We glanced around, the tables were all filthy, We walked about searching for a clean table, hoping the pissed off looking bartender would offer to come wipe one off. EVERYONE continued to stare at us. We are pretty normal Mainers, people don’t stare at us anywhere else. It felt like death in there, suddenly I could not breathe, my inhaler was in the car, I could not get out of there fast enough. The others were disgusted and confused. Did we walk into a funeral for someone? Saturday night Dec 16th. We went to Sliders, had a great meal and friendly staff. Sorry if we interrupted your funeral night at Definitive. Creeeeeepy place.

Great beer selection and atmosphere. Flatbread and poutine was good. Small arcade with games is great for kids and adults. Outside deck seating is perfect for a cool summer night overlooking the trails for Sunday River.

Stopped in while visiting for the weekend to grab some beer to go. A wide selection of fantastic beers that I wish I could get locally.

Feels like the old Sunday River with better beer. One of the best breweries in the state. Easy vibe, great after ski food.

What can I say!! We brought a party of 15 last night with no notice and the magic act put on by a staff of two to serve us was incredible in the face of a busy night..I've never seen anything like it - and I've worked in the service industry. My hats off to you guys working calmly through this last night it was an unbelievable effort to keep everything moving in an efficient manner. Food was quite good regardless of the circumstances! Well done from the gang from Nova Scotia. We will be back.

Waited at the hostess stand for 15 plus minutes without a single person even walking by . Us and 2 other families left. Every year we try this place again and it never gets better
