This is one of my happy places! Get the ribeye grilled cheese sandwich…my goodness! Great local beer selection. Can get loud/lively inside on a packed day…and the decor is a little normal, but it’s a bar, not a museum. Has an expansive bar seating and quick, friendly service. Love posting up on the sunny porch with the views of the slopes. If it’s too much with the crowds you can always relocate the group around the corner in the lodge area.

Tasty American cuisine to fuel your laps down the mountain. I had a burger almost every day for lunch here during the week I visited and they were all yummy. Billy boy burger my favorite, short rib burger at the bottom but all very good. Specials like hungarian mushrooms soup and local loaded red hotdogs were great. Salads were also had and enjoyed by others in the group. Overall, lovely for what it is. Casual pub and ski grub. Biggest challenge is finding the stairs that lead to it. It's easy to miss them. Service was well paced and friendly earning the 5 star.

This restaurant is extremely loud . The fries are not fresh and are burnt. And the $15 “salad” is the most basic salad and should not be $15. The carrots look like they have been sitting for weeks. Service is ok. There is no crayons for my child to color the kids menu. I wouldn’t waste the money to be honest.

Food was good and reasonably priced. She had a quesidilla and the vegetarian soup. I had a burger. Hers was absolutely amazing. My burger was blah, ordered it medium got it well done. Service was great.
Great views from the upper deck. Waitstaff is doing great under a lot of customers all at once.

The Sunday river no cash policy needs to be advertised more. There needs to be clear signage at all locations as it causes issues. I was at the Foggy Goggle and ended up getting stuck paying for someone else's bill. I was sitting at the bar and started talking with a kind and nice person that ordered food and drinks. She left before me and left cash for items which was taken by the staff at the bar. I was then given the bill for itens that were both mine and hers and was forced to pay for items that were not mine. I was told that cash wasn't accepted which I already knew but apparently this other person didn't. The staff at the bar acknowledged the cash that was left but stated that cash wasn't accepted and that I was responsible for the entire amount of the bill which isn't fair. If the mountain is going to have a no cash policy they need to clearly document the policy so that all patrons that enter the establishment are aware of the policy. This way people like me are not taken advantage of and forced to pay for the food and drink bills for others. I was kind to the staff as this is not their fault and let it go but this is something that needs to be dealt with from a management standpoint as I paid the bill for someone that left cash that was not aware of the policy. This is not fair to me and other locals that frequent Sunday River. I live in Bethel and feel taken advantage of.
