“Allards makes the best calzones ever! Every time we have gotten them, they are by far superior than any place else. Always fully loaded with tasty ingredients! We don’t do take out often but when we do it’s allards! Anyways! Last night we got an order for delivery. Usually the hubby orders it but he was still driving home so he had me order it. I’m thinking it may have been poor reception on my part but everything in our order was once again perfect except one calzone... mine. Well by the time we got the food in the house and looked it over and I had realized the mistake, the store was closed for the night. I couldn’t eat mine because it had an item I was allergic to. I had ordered it without but didn’t specify my allergy like the hubby usually does so it was definitely my bad there. So I called the next morning and explained what had happened and asked if I could exchange the wrong one for a correct one. As a good business does, they apologized and made it right 100%. Even told me to keep the other one which the kids will love for leftovers! I appreciated the respectful conversation and whomever I spoke with was completely awesome! If you were the owner, you are fabulous! If it was an employee, you deserve a bonus!!!! I will continue recommending allards and definitely plan on letting everyone I know what a pleasure it is getting takeout/delivery from the best place around!!! Five stars all the way!”

“I have a Dunkin donuts 2 mi from me and one 3 mi from me. I drive 10 mi specifically for this one. I love it there. But unfortunately what I don't love is that I've been manager at dunkin' donuts. I've been shift leader. I've been assistant manager. And yet you won't hire me as just a crew member. I don't get it. Guests we'll never know”

“I love The Brunch Club! I usually get takeout and have never had a bad meal. I love their breakfast (those homefries especially!) but their lunch sandwiches are where its at. Good quality, well made, and always delicious. Shout out to the team in Dover, also, who are absolute rock stars!! As I mentioned, I usually get takeout, and have always had a great experience, even if its for a quick pick up - always smiles, a quick greeting from not only the host but the cooks, as well. The people truly are the best part (and its hard to top their food!) Embarrassingly, I recently ordered online from the Rochester location without realizing it, and went to Dover to pick it up. Tomer handled it amazingly. Despite my screw up, they were happy to call Rochester to cancel my order, and make it in Dover for me. I so appreciated him helping me to fix my own mistake and with a smile on his face. This team takes great pride in what they do and it shows!”

“Definitely open during the summer. Idk why it’s listed as temporarily closed. I ordered two scoops of dairy-free oreo on a cone. My eyes bugged out of my head when I saw what I’d done. They are MASSSIVE baseball sized scoops. Really dense ice cream and delicious.”

“We each had a sandwich, one mortadella and one turkey and a San Pellegrino peach beverage. Glad we came! I liked that there were so many seating option...outside under an umbrella, under the covered porch or inside in the rustic dining room. Staff are very friendly. Well be back for the gelato!”

“Was just up in Wells the past 3 nights. Yesterday my wife and I worked our way down to Cape Neddick to shop next to Lorenas. When we went into shop we noticed Lorenas Empanadas, so on way out we decided to grab an Empanada. My wife had shrimp,I had chicken. Delicious they were, so on our way home today we stopped back in for lunch and again delicious. Plus get the cilantro lime crema sauce. Definitely good topper, plus homemade churros for dessert. 😋😋”

“Two Bees was such a delightful find! Everything about them was perfection. Walking into the cafe, the decor is lovely with a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the river. The staff was so sweet and just lovely authentic people. But the offerings they had were simply divine. Their croissant was reminiscent of European quality, all their ingredients were fresh and tasty, but the best thing was their passion fruit tart- outstanding! Very highly recommend this place!”
