Best breakfast pizza in all of New England! They have lunch ready in the warmer 6 days a week, and it all fresh and delicious. Allard's market is the hidden gem of North Berwick. Tom has been doing it right for almost 40 years.

Great food! Pizza by the slice, or the whole pie, and quite a variety of toppings. Many foods to combine for meals, all freshly prepared and kept warm. I chose chicken tenders, fries, and two slices of pizza with pepperoni, bacon, tomato, an basil. The crust is uniform and crispy. It's doesn't flop over under the weight of the toppings. The tenders were moist, not dry, and well-breaded. They get the fries frozen, then bake them, but they come with the skin on them. They are tasty enough to eat without ketchup. The staff is friendly and attentive. The store is small, but open. Not really a market, and not really a "deli" in the traditional sense. Mostly to-go items, drinks, and snacks and a few kitchen/household supplies. You can eat on site, both inside and out. We ate in and witnessed a constant stream of lunchtime customers, many of whom were regulars. My wife got a pulled pork sandwich which had coleslaw and thousand Island dressing on it and a slice of pizza. She loved it. Decent portions. We had to take some home. Their meals are prepared for easy take out, eat in, or eat outside at picnic tables outside. Parking is a problem at peak hours. Two spaces out front, but more in the back. Well-located on the main street through town. Stairs prevent wheelchair access. Cash or credit. The staff seems to work well together.
