“Allards makes the best calzones ever! Every time we have gotten them, they are by far superior than any place else. Always fully loaded with tasty ingredients! We don’t do take out often but when we do it’s allards! Anyways! Last night we got an order for delivery. Usually the hubby orders it but he was still driving home so he had me order it. I’m thinking it may have been poor reception on my part but everything in our order was once again perfect except one calzone... mine. Well by the time we got the food in the house and looked it over and I had realized the mistake, the store was closed for the night. I couldn’t eat mine because it had an item I was allergic to. I had ordered it without but didn’t specify my allergy like the hubby usually does so it was definitely my bad there. So I called the next morning and explained what had happened and asked if I could exchange the wrong one for a correct one. As a good business does, they apologized and made it right 100%. Even told me to keep the other one which the kids will love for leftovers! I appreciated the respectful conversation and whomever I spoke with was completely awesome! If you were the owner, you are fabulous! If it was an employee, you deserve a bonus!!!! I will continue recommending allards and definitely plan on letting everyone I know what a pleasure it is getting takeout/delivery from the best place around!!! Five stars all the way!”

“We are staying in Kittery Point, ME and I was looking for a fun sandwich shop near by. I'm glad the site thought that 15 miles away was "close by". We drove to North Berwick to NoBo. Got there in time to get lunch. (they close at 2:00). Had a Sinatra, with extra hot pepper relish. One of the best Italian subs ever!! Soft sub roll, lots of meats and cheese, with fresh shredded lettuce, tomatoes and dressing. Grabbed a bag of Mesquite BBQ chips and a cold beer. Oh my!! So, so good. The owner is so nice. They now serve breakfast too!! Full-on breakfast!! And, they make their own hash and have sausage gravy and biscuits. Wish we lived closer. We're from DC!1 The place is quaint and homey. GO IF YOU CAN!!!”

“I have eaten at probably hundreds of subways over my years but JD at the North Berwick Maine location makes the subs and wraps PERFECTLY every single time. I stopped getting lunch at other subways and just stop by and grab a sub and a couple protein wraps from him and they’re consistent and delicious all day long. Top notch sandwich artist, he should be training every other subway how to make a great sandwich.”

“Just had an amazing dinner at Walkers Maine in Cape Neddick! Our waitress Brook was fantastic, helping us navigate the delicious menu. We started with complimentary bread & oil, then devoured fried oysters. I enjoyed the short rib kofta with zucchini & German potato salad, while my friend savored the salmon entree. For dessert, we had to try the in-house-made sarsaparilla-glazed donuts & ice cream. Everything was top-notch!”

“My love and I dined here last night. Our server was wonderful, and she enticed me with the Sea Bass Special. I've never ordered a special before, and..wow. The buttery flakiness of the fish, the perfect rice, and the bright salad dressing sent me to the moon. The old woman (delightful) brought us this amazing giant bread. Sara had the chicken kabob, and the meat was delectable. Our entire meal was amazing. $58 for two people (I had one Budweiser) is amazing. “Consistently the best. Inside seating at picnic type tables can get crowded in the summertime, but is a welcome spot in the chilly and changeable weather in the spring. Outside order window makes it convenient if you want to sit down outside and enjoy the ambiance of Perkins Cove.”

“Stumbled upon this gem! A historic part of Wells delivered big flavor. 80 flavors today, which is quite impressive alone but the types were really creative & imaginative. Great flavor while not being over the top. There was a line, (which I'm sure there is alot!) but it moves quick. Plenty of seating outside. The staff were fun, engaging and friendly. Summer must hit!

Today we were in the area at just the right time and finally made it happen 🙌 OMGSH we are so glad we did! The food was outstanding, the homemade bread was incredible 🥖 and everything was so fresh. Our server Emily was an absolute blast 😄 She was fun, sarcastic (just the way we like it 😉) and made us feel like we were regulars from the moment we sat down.
