This was the second time I went to Johnathan's and both times were fantastic. It's a great place to go before catching the show at the Ogunquit Playhouse. The food is beyond delicious. Both times I ordered the Yeager Schnitzel served with beets and mashed potatoes. This girl had a major beet aversion until they were paired meticulously with the Yeager Schnitzel dish. I plan to go back every year on my visits to Ogunquit.
The seafood dish had a good variety of seafood and cooked perfectly. The beef dish was warm and cold in spots. I wished the beef was warmer. The carrot cake was dry but the apple crisp was delicious. Wish it was served with ice cream instead of whipped cream.
I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years . I order 1 of 5 things every time . The reason I come back is it's always consistent I know what I will be getting every time fresh food that is something that is very difficult to do over such a extended time frame we will be back in September when we return to Ogunquit
