For Oct. 10- Lobster Shack at Perkins Cove in Ogunquit is the perfect place to bring friends from outside the region who are looking for that classic Maine experience. I had friends in from Utah who absolutely loved it here. You don’t choose a specific lobster, rather, you choose the size; the staff picks them, cooks them, and prepares everything while you wait. Great place to eat a whole lobster! It was our first time to Maine and we wanted to try the lobster! We weren't disappointed either. It was very good. The restaurant location and atmosphere was neat too.
Fun atmosphere and quick service. Getting the daily special is the way to go. If you get the clams, they give you a small bowl of water. This is to rinse the residue grit on the clams. I wish I knew that before I ate my first clam. The ones after that were great!
