We were in York for a couple of nights and decided to try The Front Yard. I was a bit disappointed in the selection of pastas, they all seemed to be really buttery or creamy, and it was a limited selection. I opted for the sautéed Maine lobster, jumbo shrimp served with pappardelle pasta in vodka sauce. The seafood was very good and cooked to perfection, but the vodka sauce was really heavy- too creamy. We were a party of five that went here pre-show. Our server was very nice and worked with my son, who has a dairy allergy, to get him a dish he could enjoy. The brussel sprouts were very good. The food was all well prepared and had a nice amount of flavor. Nothing on the dessert menu caught our fancy, so we went to an ice cream stand down the road. We would definitely visit this restaurant again when we are in the area.
