My son brought me home a maple muffin, and in all my many years of life, that was by far the best muffin I've ever had! I hope they are made all year long!

Every staff member was so friendly (thank you Michelle for taking such good care of us!) and the food was delicious. I got the avocado and egg sandwich, and the ciabatta was fresh and the herb aioli was amazing. Will definitely be back!

Servers are very friendly HOWEVER. The server ( and owner/manager) working at the bar was EXTREMELY rude. I ordered a an iced latte to go and waited over 20 minutes. I was asked if I waiting for anything I said yes my iced latte… the server went to see the server working at the bar where she was asked if she was making an iced latte and said loudly “ YES I SEE HER STARING AT ME” ( talking about me). What kind of service is that? I kindly told that bartender server to mind what she says as I the customer heard her. She replied rudely ( YUP Duly noted). I was politely just waiting for my iced latte at the entrance of the restaurant. Very very rude and not pleasant first experience.

Biggest helping of lox ever! Everything was fresh and well plated. Pesto sammich was delish - eggs and bread were so soft. And spiffy service to boot!

We went in here as a second choice. I’m so glad we did! The crab and avocado sandwich on fresh sourdough bread was absolutely amazing. The fresh muffins were warmed to perfection. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this quaint restaurant.

Go early or be prepared to wait. Either is worth it. Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, and the food... OH MY GOD. The Monte Cristo is excellent and the coffee is amazing. The muffins are enormous and scrumptious. Take some home.

If you want to wait for 45+ minutes and watch people who are favorited get seated before you then go here. Places like this suck for people who genuinely want to try their food. Their hospitality skills were horrendous.

Literally the best breakfast joint in Ogunquit. Seriously. Amazing. You feel like a better person eating here. The folks are splendid. Been vacationing here for 15 years and realized why we never went here - it was always packed. This place is well worth waking up early. Do it.

If you are enjoying a trip or stay up in Ogunquit, you have to give The Greenery a try for breakfast/brunch.The Greenery offers delicious, from-scratch brunch that is sure to delight! They do have a smaller menu than most breakfast spots. They offer a solid selection of fresh breakfast sandwiches if you’re looking for something other than your typical bacon and eggs. The Greenery also has a solid list of specialties. You’ll find dishes like Crab Saratoga, Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Burritos, Bagel+Lox, and Avocado Toast. If you’re in the mood for eggs, they’ve got you covered. They have a solid selection of “Bennys.” (Benedicts) You’ll also find a small selection of omelettes. The portion size of the omelets are HUGE. You could easily split one between two people! They have scrambles as well.If you prefer pancakes or French toast, they have you covered. They offer traditional French toast, maple-nut French toast, strawberry French toast, and Monte Cristo. They do allow you to order a half-order, which I really appreciate. The pancakes are as large as a dinner plate. They offer traditional buttermilk, Maine blueberry, chocolate chip, and almond joy. You can order a half order as well, which I highly recommend. I was barely able to finish one pancake!Lastly, they do have a solid selection of add-ons and sides to go with your meal. They offer bacon, ham, sausage, hash, toast, steel-cut oatmeal, hash browns, and a house granola parfait. We visited for a late brunch and preferred to be seated outside, as it was absolutely gorgeous. There was a short 10-15 minute wait, so do not be discouraged if you see a line!I ordered the Maine Blueberry Pancake. I went with the half-order and I am glad I did! They are the size of a plate. The pancake was perfect and bursting with fresh, Maine blueberries! I added a side of bacon to accompany my pancake. The other person with me ordered the Crab Saratoga. It is scrambled eggs mixed with cream cheese, scallions, and Jonah crab meat. It is topped with an egg over-easy and hollandaise sauce. It came with hash browns and toast.Lastly, they do offer a lunch menu for those not in the mood for breakfast! I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone vacationing in Ogunquit. The food is great. The owner, not so much. She treats customers very poorly. We were seated by a very kind Canadian couple. The wife went to have a smoke AWAY from the patio and restaurant. She was practically in the street! The owner comes out and yells at the woman. “No Smoking! Anywhere! Ever!” You DO NOT treat a customer that way. They also were clearly international visitors and aren’t used our rules and such. The owner put a very bad taste in my mouth. If she treats customers this way, it explains why they’re so short staffed- which they admitted is the case. The owner should treat customers with respect and I’d bet employees feel the same way. I was so disgusted that I got the check and left. I’ll be sure to tell others how the owner behaves. Totally unacceptable. A couple just spent money with you. You could tell they were international.Lastly, I didn’t find it funny like your locals did on the patio. Imagine being that miserable towards others keeping you in business. Good food, nasty and entitled owner.I won’t be back. She can yell at and bully someone else.

Not the same experience. We have been to the Greenery in the past few years, most recently this summer. There was a nice outdoor seating area that is now closed, disappointing The hash browns were soggy and raw, not golden and crispy. The corned beef hash was mushy and tasted like an old can. The place needs a deep cleaning, including the bathrooms (we had not sat inside previously). The service was pleasant and fine. Would we go back? Probably not. Plenty of other options including some right down the street. Not the same experience we had in the past. Food was better prepared and outdoor seating was a huge plus.

Food was very nice- worth the 45 minutes wait. The entry hostess who took names/beeper for tables seems to have an anger issue tho. She accidentally crossed our name from wait list, then when we politely inquired as to how much longer the wait would be, she called our party by the wrong name...clearly an oops but no reason for anger- when we pointed this error out, she became visibly angry, and said a few rude things to us about "who do you think you are" etc etc. What??? So the food is really good, the server of our table was pleasant, but the hostess definitely made us not want to come back.
