Another great brunch and breakfast place in Ogunquit. Not only is the service from staff friendly and swift, but the food is generously portioned and delicious. I had the lobster Benedict and it was scrumptious. In addition, the muffins, the raspberry Bellini, avocado toast... they were all wonderful. Depending on the time of year, it's a bit of a wait to get a table. It was also a bit pricey for brunch, but well worth the splurge.
Great food, service! Amy was excellent, only if everyone was happy and had the best attitude the world would be a better place. We are from KC, Mo area.

Absolute must-try for breakfast. 10000% our new go-to breakfast spot. Everyone was so happy with their meals. The cinnamon bun was warmed up & so savory. And we loved our waitress! She was so friendly!
The corned beef hash was excellent. I enjoyed the home made multi grain toast. We had good service and it was a nice environment. Very good breakfast restaurant.
This place will not disappoint! This is the second time we've been at The Greenery Cafe and the food is always good. Make sure to try their cranberry bread with your breakfast!
We found this cafe the first day we were in town and continued to experience the menu for for the remainder of our 5 day stay in Ogunquit. Fabulous serving staff included Steph, Jackie, Michelle and the kitchen staff created super delicious breakfast and lunch plates, including the quiche, omelets and the fresh baked bread made the perfect toast. Perfect cappuccino! Now let’s talk about the scrumptious muffins and baked goods you can smell as you approach the restaurant. They had a huge assortment of muffins to choose from and when you can’t decide on one, just get them all… you won’t be disappointed. Fabulous
From start to finish this was an excellent meal and worth the walk from where we were staying. We had the Jonah Crab Benedict and crab Saratoga both were absolutely amazing. The mimosa and Irish coffee were a great way to start the day and the service was excellent. Before you leave you must try something from their in house bakery, and my I suggest some coffee cake or raspberry vanilla muffin.
I have been coming to Ogunquit for years and this is my breakfast stop. The food is delicious and service is spot on. There open at 7 AM And they seem to be extremely busy until close. My fave is Crab Saratoga , fluffy scrambled eggs mixed with cream cheese, scallion and Jonás crabmeat topped with an egg over easy . This is not to be missed if you like crabmeat. The blueberry pancakes are the freshest I've eaten in town. Throughout the years, I have eaten and enjoyed many of the meals for breakfast and lunch. The coffee is always hot and strong but if your feeling like a mimosa, the pomegranate is spot on. Inside, they have a bakery which you can eat there or order a box to go. No matter what you choose, you won't be disappointed. Depending on the weather, you can choose to sit inside or out ! Whatever you choose, there is no bad seat in the house. Enjoy! And let me know what's your favorite dish.
I came back to Ogunquit for the first time in 22 years, I was here last when I was 14 with a friend's family. While visiting town for a virtual conference I chose to have breakfast here twice. Not all service is created equal. Not only was my server both times very pleasant and accommodating others were asking me how I was doing as they were walking by. (Shame on the patron beside me that said that was annoying. You are irrelevantl) I enjoyed the Eggs Benedict and Tomato bacon brie omelette. The muffins are to die for! The server on Friday also chased after me to return my book! The owner clearly takes care of their staff and fosters a team environment, it shows well done! - Service recieved on Thursday September 9th and Saturday September 11th.
This is my new "must go to" place when I visit Ogunquit! The best blueberry pancakes I have EVER eaten! The sausage gravy and biscuits is also delicious! It's very quaint, everything is fresh and hot - made to order. The servers are always friendly and the baked goods are excellent. Try to get there before 9 though, it fills up quickly and there is usually a wait later in the morning.
We've been thinking about returning to this place since we were last here 3 years ago, and now I remember why it was so high on our list. They just "get it". Everything is done perfectly. The staff was not only knowledgeable and super friendly, but you can tell - just well trained (big kuddos to the Owners/Mgt). The food, just outstanding. The fresh soups were too much to pass up, Nina had to try the shrimp and mushroom bisque (pictured), where I had the fresh crab Benedict on (again) freshly baked ciabatta pictured). Just a great overall restaurant, congrats again, can't wait for our next visit! (Also love the bumper sticker on the hood in the kitchen, see picture.) Now we're off to the Marginal Way Ogunquit to walk this off!
I've gone to this cafe several time throughout the past couple years and the food has always been consistently DELICIOUS! The staff knows the menu well and are always super friendly and attentive. The menu offers a plethora of options to suit any dietary restrictions or needs. What's great is that this place has a phone so you can call to see if they're open before you drive from anywhere! Be sure to get here early, this popular place fills up quick and parking becomes scarce. You won't regret getting a table at this quaint cafe!
The food was pretty good, the portions were ok but the service was a bit obnoxious. Our meal took over an hour to arrive and when it arrived and we asked if our waters were coming, our waiter made an awkward comment about how she thought delivering our food was more important. When we asked for hot sauce, she just uncomfortably grabbed it from the the other table. When the other table was shocked about getting their hot sauce taken, she just grabbed another hot sauce from the table beside them.Probably won't be back.
The food was amazing. 5 stars. Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Staff was friendly but overrun and unable to keep up with tables- we had to ask for a coffee refill 3 times before we got it. They clearly have too few staff but I totally get that it is really hard to find staff. Now here’s the issue that led a 4.5 star review to become a 3 star. It was unfortunately the most expensive breakfast I’ve ever had once you add in the $50 parking ticket. The parking lot and backup parking was completely full. We drove around for 10 minutes waiting for a spot to open before parking on the street behind the restaurant. We came out to a police officer writing a ticket. I suggested he tell the Greenery restaurant about the situation of customers getting ticketed because they didn’t have enough parking. The police officer responded: “They know. We have written nearly 1000 tickets since the spring here.” It’s not like there isn’t parking close by that the management could negotiate for their use. There are chained off parking lots on either side. The restaurant next door is open just for dinner, the Greenery is open just for breakfast. The Greenery management could negotiate for sufficient parking or at the least post signs at the hostess stand or put something in the menu letting people know about the situation. Footnote: we had a disabled person with us so we couldn’t park in the paid lot down the street.
