Even though it’s definitely a vacation town restaurant it felt like a family run local place. Best meal we had in Old Orchard Beach at a more than reasonable price.

Every time I go, I have a fantastic meal. This time I got the seafood stuffed haddock and shared a bowl of lobster stew. The haddock was moist, flavorful, buttery and huge. The lobster stew was a delicious bisque with meat of an entire lobster! The waitress was on point, the hostess was bubbly and attentive and the negroni was a fantastic cocktail for summer. And IYKYK about the fresh breadrolls, hot from the oven. I wish every restaurant in OOB was so professionally managed! As it is now, this is pretty much a one of a kind. In this time of unhappy experiences and surly wait staff, this place is a breath of fresh air!

I admit that I judged this book by its cover initially, but we decided to give it a try and were not disappointed. Our server Mike was so pleasant and engaging but not in an overbearing way-you can tell he enjoys working with people. The inside is quaint and inviting. An adorable bar. We got the mariners stew based on reviews and it was quite yummy. Flavorful and full of fresh seafood. It sounds silly, but the kids chicken fingers were probably some of the best chicken fingers we’ve had in a while, fresh and hot and great breading. Definitely give this place a shot!

I come specifically to Old Orchard Beach every year just to eat at The Bell Buoy. They serve the best seafood and are very closely located to the pier and beach. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the lobster is a huge selling point. Friendly staff, great food, good service, and a mere walking distance from many of the other attractions. I cannot recommend this place enough, and hope it remains open forever.

Every time I come up to Old Orchard Beach, my family and I stop here! It's no frills, but a solid, straightforward meal. Everything is reasonably priced with portions that will leave you full. Once you walk in, you feel like you've been transported back in time. Old school decor, your classic American restaurant. On the menu, they have an option for a 3-course meal. They have various options to choose from for a fixed price! It's great . My only complaint about it is that they used to have steamers as an option for an appetizer in the fixed 3 course meal, and it is no longer included. I decided on clam chowder, Caesar salad, and stuffed shrimp. I enjoyed the salad, and the stuffing for the shrimp was buttery and rich, but the clam chowder was terrible. No flavor at all and extremely watery broth. Would never get that again. Overall, enjoyable sit down, family restaurant, and will be back next year!
