If you’re looking for the worst meal, followed by the worst management for complaints this is your place. Table of 4, my burger was a grey hockey puck and my grandsons cheeses pizza was rubbery and uncooked. When I spoke to our waitress she assured us the management was not going to credit me for my uneaten burger,only the cheese pizza- neither were touched by our party.
Our waitress was very apologetic, no one else tried to make us happy.

Everything was perfect, from the moment we walked into the restaurant until the moment we left. I came here with my family about 4 days ago, and I didn’t think we would all fit at one table, but the host was very friendly and managed to seat us all together. The waitress ( i think her name was Tracy) was also very kind and attentive throughout, and both the drinks and the food were a solid 10/10. We will definitely be coming back next year!”

Last night, Sunday August 31, we walked in at around 6:15pm to see if we can get a table for dinner. I noticed when we walked in, there was a woman standing ahead of us already waiting, and I noticed the host was behind the hostess stand. He didn’t even look up or make eye contact with anyone and walked to the back of the restaurant. I asked the woman if she had put her name in for a table and she said “no, I’ve been waiting for someone to notice me”. The host came back to the stand, didn’t say a word or look up at anyone and the woman asked how long it would be for a table, and all he replied was “it’s going to be awhile”. That’s an extremely subjective thing to say…is “awhile” 20 minutes? An hour? 3 hours? He never said. Then she asked, “can I put our name in for a table then?” And he said “no, we don’t take names.” And went about doing whatever he was doing behind the hostess stand, which didn’t look like much. He didn’t make eye contact with us, didn’t address us, nothing. After seeing that interaction of how rude and unfriendly they have for a host, we all turned around and walked out. Never have I ever experienced this in my life, especially visiting from my hometown that is also a tourist area. I worked in the restaurant industry for almost a decade and this was hands down some of the worst service I’ve ever seen within the first 5 minutes in a restaurant.

We had two couples looking for a place to have some good food in Old Orchard Beach. We have no idea if the food is good at Bell Buoy because we walked in (they don’t take reservations) and there were two couples in front of us (as far as we could tell). We all stood there about five minutes before someone came to the host stand. The couple in front of us tried to talk to him and he just turned and walked away. That made the couple in front of us give up and leave. Another person came up to the stand about five minutes later, made a pile out of the menus, I said hello, but he also turned and walked away even though I was about 2 feet in front of him. That was it for us, so we walked out as well. I understand being busy, I live in a resort town that’s crazy in the summer as well. However, their restaurant was half empty and if they couldn’t accommodate us they should have at least greeted us and let us know, not just ignored us. Honestly, they were acting weird. I definitely don’t recommend this place, the staff we saw were just odd and rude.

Food was very good, service was extremely poor. When I asked for a manager to share my concerns i was told my waitress was the manager. However she never came back to the table after I asked to speak with her. Very unfortunate experience tonight.

It can be hard to decide where to eat in a tourist beach town, but don’t skip this place! The food was excellent and responsibly priced, with good portions. It’s in the downtown and super convenient. Staff was attentive. Would definitely go back.

Our server greeted us, took our order, and then we never saw her again! My filet was more over cooked than I asked and was very dry, almost as if it had been heated in a microwave. The lobster was more like a crawfish it was so small but cooked well. As someone who worked in the service industry I didn't leave a great tip as I expected a lot more. Would I recommend this place?? Hmmmm maybe.

I was a bit disappointed with my last visit here. I live in Maine and vacation in OOB every summer. Last year we ate here and we all thought it was fantastic. I love a good lobster bisque and they had the best I've ever had! All year I was excited to come back for it. This time however, not only was it not as good, it was not lobster bisque, I had everyone at the table try, and I swear it was campbells cheese soup with a lobster claw in it! I know it wasn't actually, but it was so odd, everything else was okay and I'm sure they would have comped the bisque had I said something...

This place was cute and all, the food was pretty good, but the SERVICE was EXCEPTIONAL. Our server noticed that my daughter has a swollen wrist (she had fallen earlier that afternoon), she brought her an ice pack and then an ace bandage. She was so kind with my kids, and attentive- you just don't see that anymore!

In the heart of Old Orchard, you won’t find a better value for your money. We visited with a party of six, and everyone left satisfied. Whether you’re a fan of seafood or Italian cuisine, you won’t be disappointed. Like many spots in Old Orchard, the restaurant has a slightly dated look, but it was very clean and well cared for. We especially enjoyed the calamari and stuffed mushrooms — both were delicious. We had hoped to return later in the week, but with so many great dining options in the area, we simply ran out of time.

Nice little place! My friend and I took a girls weekend, while walking by we saw a sign saying Yummy Gummy drink $9 and needed to go for dinner and try that . Reasonably priced for the location. We opted for the 3 course for $36 a starter section with soup as an option. We had the bisque 😋 yummm and pick garden or Cesar salad. Main dish from options, I had the baked stuffed haddock, really tasty. My friend had the seafood Casserole with shrimp. She was happy with her choice and said it was good. Rolls at the table (just 1 for each of us ☹️) I enjoyed my gummy yummy beverage. I can’t remember the name of my friends drink, but she was happy with it. Friendly staff & quick service

Right in the center of the Old Orchard Beach area. Mike was our server and was on top of everything. Most of the patrons were clearly seniors, local, regulars which says something for a restaurant in a Tourist area. My wife loved her Baked Haddock, and my dill butter Salmon was really good. Food was fresh hot. good portions and very reasonable. Closed on Wednesdays.

I called to order a gift card or gift certificate for my sister and her husband but number is disconnected/not in service...

We went in when it was crazy busy Labor Day weekend, but the food and service were amazing!
