We unknowingly walked in just after closing but door was still open Oldest Son got cake batter in an edible bowl but didn’t like it. Threw most of it in trash.
Youngest son got chocolate in a dish and enjoyed it. At all of it.
Daughter got brownie batter in a chocolate and nut cone. She liked it and ate as much as she could. Very large portion. I finished it.
Wife got coffee ice cream in a chocolate dipped cone and she enjoyed it
Dad got a Reeses Explosion sundae which was ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGLY LARGE AND DELICIOUS !! I ate every drop. It was ice cream heaven!!!!!
Overall this place is expensive but large portions and good ice cream. We spent $40 for 5 people.

The ice cream was not the greatest quality in the world, but it was still good. My group got coffee oreo, coffee espresso, sea salt dark chocolate, and mint chip. The sizes of the scoops were really large, and the total for a group of 9 was $34. CASH

Went with a group of 5 people. CASH ONLY. They give large portions and the smallest size filled up the biggest eaters of the group. People who ordered the double scoop didn’t finish it.
2 people ordered key lime pie ice cream. They ice cream had no flavor and everyone within the group tried it and gave it 1 star.
1 person ordered black raspberry and liked it.
1 person ordered M & M and liked it
1 person ordered hot fudge sundae ice cream and said it was mediocre.
Ice cream was generally airy meaning it is a low quality variety. I would go to a different ice cream shop next time.

The guy handed me the wrong flavor. They didn't want to change my order and I also had to ask them for my change twice. It wasn't worth it.
I originally came only because my friends worked there. They were saying that the ice cream was good but I didn’t really believe it until I came. I would highly recommend coming here!! Definitely 5 star

I took the smallest cone specifically to not have a mess to deal with but they put a huge ball on it which, under the sun, immediately started melting and dripping everywhere. Put a ball proportional to the size of the cone.

Scrumptious ice cream here at Big Licks. Portions are huge in all sizes, and they have a large variety of ice cream flavors and plenty of topping choices.

My fourteen year old granddaughter went to Big Licks excited for some ice-cream in this Maine heat. However when she ordered and bought an ice-cream ( with her own money) she found a hair in it as she’s walking back to our hotel. Not only that but there was more than one hair and in her attempt to pull it out the hair broke because it was stuck in so deep. Calling me in disarray she expresses disappointment so we walked back to Big Licks together wanting her money back (cause it’s not cheap) and the young workers who were very kind call up their manager who denies us the ability to get a refund and claims the only thing they can do is get her another one. Which after that of course she didn’t want. Even after showing them a picture of the hair in her ice-cream they still were unwilling to refund her. So not only was there poor service and management but also a lot more locks of hair than licks of ice-cream! Buyer beware!!!
