The food wasn’t great and the place wasn’t overly clean and the service was spotty.
Syrup was sold separate from the pancakes the server didn’t know what the meals came with and tried to over charge for a side that came with the meal. Overall, our entire group was highly disappointed with this place. I try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt especially when I’ve only gone once but I can’t see myself or my group giving this place another try.

Waited over 1.5 hrs with 2 toddlers to never receive our food. Which we get if something happens, however we never were updated by the waitress. And then a couple that was sat 15 mins prior got their food with us & 2 other parties waiting for the same time without food…

Dasha was my waitresss she was so personable and attentive to our needs. The flavor and time dedicated to our meal was everything I expected and more! Its a must stop everytime I visit OOB. Very thankful for the staff and cheffs and cooks....who dont always get recognition. TY LAZY DAYS for the Ultimate hangover cure and MUCH MUCH more! I RECOMEND 💯
Great breakfast! My husband had the sausage gravy & biscuits and it was one of the best we've had anywhere. I had eggs and toast. They remade my eggs (without me asking) because they broke. A side of corned beef hash was really good too. The staff was super nice and very efficient. We are stuffed!!! Great place in OOB? We will be back!

Lazy Days in Islamorada is everything you want from a Florida Keys restaurant — amazing food, a stunning ocean view, and that relaxed, beachy vibe that makes you want to stay forever. The highlight of the menu? The smoked wahoo fish dip. It was so good we came back a second time just to have it again. Smoky, creamy, and absolutely packed with flavor — it’s easily the best fish dip we’ve ever had. Their Hemingway cocktail is another must-try — refreshing, citrusy, and strong enough to make you forget what time it is (in the best possible way). The setting is unbeatable. You can dine right by the water, relax in Adirondack chairs on the sand, and even feed the sharks and tarpon off the dock with fish pieces they provide. There’s also a stage for live music, right on the water, which makes the whole experience even better. If you’re anywhere near Islamorada, Lazy Days is a can’t-miss. Great food, great drinks, great view — and absolutely worth going back for seconds.
Disappointing Experience from Start to Finish
My brother had heard great things about this place, so we stopped in on our way to the beach. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a major disappointment.
The service was beyond inattentive. Our server seemed far more interested in flipping her hair and chatting than actually taking care of guests. We waited over 30 minutes for two simple breakfast dishes: hash and eggs, and eggs benedict. I asked for a well-toasted English muffin—it arrived barely warmed, let alone toasted. The potatoes were warm but bland and underseasoned.
The worst part? The blatant disregard for basic hygiene. The server repeatedly touched her face, hair, and neck, and never once washed her hands. It was enough to kill our appetite.
As a chef myself, I know how tough the industry is, and I usually give some grace. Not this time.
Never again.

Bartender/waiter Pedro hustles to make the place warmly hospitable. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. We had the clam burger (craftily designed of minced clam in a shape of a patty combined with a ground beef patty). Delicious! We also enjoyed the live band, which played an eclectic mix of tunes. Drop in and meet the staff. You won’t be disappointed!
Service was slow. Coffee had a bunch of grounds in it. Waited over 40 minutes for food when we were one of only 3 tables in the whole place. Half the food was cold. Side of bacon was burnt yet cold. Side pancake we ordered came out 10 minutes after we got our meals (everything was ordered together). Would not recommend.

Edit: all the tables got our food after about an hour and 45 mins, and it was delicious. They threw in some extra bacon, sausage and toast (well they were also out of home fries). We also received a discount, though we turned down the free pudding shots 🙂 I'm sure this was an anomaly.
The server staff is friendly and apologetic, no problem there, but it's been 1.5 hours and we're still waiting on two basic breakfasts. Do not come here unless you have at least an hour or more to spare to wait on scrambled eggs. Apparently there are computer issues but they hand wrote all of our orders so why not just use that? Every table in here that came at the same time as us is still waiting also, 1.5 hours and still counting.
