We have known about this place for years, but parking is a serious issue, so we haven't made the effort. This year we parked at the municipal lot and walked up. Went out back to sit outside- beautiful view of the grass and the ocean. It was a warm day, so the beach was packed. Live music playing, this seemed like a nice atmosphere. First table we tried to sit at had a bees nest. Second table- no nest, but plenty of bees. Moved futher down...until the bees came again. Moved inside. After killing 10 on the window- we moved to yet another table. Only had a couple of bees there- but paying attention to the bar, the whole garnish station (both of them) had so many bees buzzing around! The bartender was constantly shooing them away. I understand bugs in an outdoor eating environment, but this was over the top. Got our drinks in flimsy plastic cups, but they were very tasty. Food was nothing spectacular. We got the popcorn chicken (huge order) tacos, and the fish sandwich. It was fine, but not worth trying again. Went looking for the restroom- sign inside said it was outside to the left. Went outside, went to the left- and it was a door for the kitchen. Went back inside, got a waitress- asked her and she just said "outside to the left". I explained again that I was obviously blind since the only door to the left was the kitchen. She finally brought me outside, and pointed to the house next door. My mistake, I did not know I was supposed to go to a different house for the restroom. Not to mention, the inside of the bar was pretty dusty, dirty, and cluttered. All in all- the drinks were the highlight. The waitstaff was all very friendly. Food was mediocre at best. I will not be venturing back.

Great location with a great view over the sea. The food is your standard junk food menu so if that rocks your boat then this is the place for you (try the beef tacos they are extra fatty and salty :-( ). It’s disappointing that they use so much “one time use” plastics for everything - plastic beer cups, plastic cutlery, plastic water cups,plastic straws etc, so if you are at all environmentally conscious then don’t go. Personally we will not be returning. By the way a 18% gratuity fee is automatically added to your bill.

This little hole in the wall restaurant was a great surprise. It's a short walk from the main area of OOB and is located right on the beach. The tables are literally set in the sand. Beyond that is dune grass and the ocean. I had the best tacos in my life! They featured cole slaw, pulled chicken and sweet Thai chili sauce. Delicious!

Fun pirate themed restaurant and bar right on the beach . First my husband and I went alone to check it out during our stay in OOB. WE thoroughly enjoyed sitting at their outside bar watching the ocean and listening to a very talented young man sing and play guitar . Our bartenders MIke and Jess were super friendly and funny and made our visit that much more enjoyable. Later on we went with a large family group to dine and loved it . Food was typical pub fare prepared well and served quickly. Our server was Blake, he was great , friendly and efficient even while an older local couple at the table next to us unfairly berated him and complained nonstop during our entire stay. We knew the were local because they prefaced every complaint with that statement . Blake still came to our table with a smile or a joke and made sure we had everything we needed . Definitely worth a visit.

I heard about this place but never made it there until few days ago. My wife and I found it to be perfect for us as the food was better than good, good prices and large portions. The outdoor patio was perfect for my family. Just nice to get away and eat out in these time in a place that was super aware of hygiene... super clean and nice ..

Stopped in here for a bite, beer and to listen to the live band. The quesadilla was terrific and our waitress recommend a beer that was delicious! Band was very good and it was nice to relax and listen to them with my daughter. I will be back with my friends, hopefully next year!

A total SCAM! Would give fewer stars if I could and will report for a health code violation. Ordered a lobster role with “4oz of meat” and got a sandwich that had 2oz at best for the price of a 4oz one. The servers were not only rude but put all the meat inside using his ungloved hands that were not washed before. Then told me to leave when I complained or he’d call the police as it’s his “private property”. Disgusting! You’d think at such a customer oriented place (The Pier) you’d get better service. Good thing there are other places that serve lobster rolls - walk on past this place and go elsewhere.

May have great food from what other reviews says but the kids customer service sucked. When asked if they were hand cut fries he said yes. Very disappointed to pay six dollars for a basket of fries that were frozen store bought fries. Then we asked for our money back because he lied he told me that he doesn't give money back on his fries and that they are "his" famous fries. We just bought a house down here and will be letting everyone we know what a liar and poor service this place has. Hope a six dollar sale was worth it.
