Mediocre
food, poor service, high prices - exactly what you'd expect for a tourist trap on the pier.

We were able to get some seating on the deck viewing the beach. If we were staying more than a few hours it would have been a cool place to go and drink and watch the sites.

Staff are attentive, cheerful, and genuinely kind
Dining feels light, refined, and delightful
We were excited to eat on the pier and decided to try Hooligans. What struck me first was how dirty and dusty everything was. We sat at a table that had photos on the wall (next to us) and they were gross. So filthy - covered with old food/drinks/grease - and obviously rarely cleaned, if ever. The decorations overhead were covered in dust as well. Our table was dirty, as was my chair (remnants of the previous customers, I would assume). Our server was friendly & we liked him. We ordered fried foods for dinner because, frankly, after seeing how dirty everything was, I was worried about ordering a salad or anything ‘fresh’. Our fried foods (chicken tenders, fried haddock, & fries) were a bit overcooked, but still tasty.
I can honestly say that I will never go back. It wasn’t worth the money.

Staff was wonderful, the problem was the food. We've gone there before and it was fine but this time the food was average at best. I ordered fried scallops with Mac & cheese and a garden salad [$30]. The scallops were SO greasy (grease was just pooling on the basket liner (because they do disposable baskets instead of plates)) that the breading was mostly gone and they seemed on the undercooked side. The Mac and cheese was complete mush and the salad was fine except the onions seemed old or half cooked or something. Very unimpressed. Also the photos for some reviews aren't even of the actual restaurant, this is the first place as you walk onto the pier.

Perfectly fine. Had the fish and chips and the fish was fresh and not over battered. Hubby had stale fries unfortunately, but luckily mine were ok and he ate them up. Cocktails were mediocre, so would recommend beer and wine instead. Only complaint was that the ceiling was dripping water onto me and my food.

This is our go-to dinner spot every time we come to OOB. Consistently good food and excellent service. Love the casual atmosphere. We’ve had Kayla for our server a number of times and she is top notch! Simply the best!
Very good food
Tiny bar. Never room to sit at it so every time we went we had to sit outside and wait forever for drinks.
