These fries were just ok, kinda of like frozen crinkle fries you would get in the freezer section of the grocery store. Nothing special or outstanding about them.

They are good fries, but no better than most. They desperately needed salt. I liked that they were crispy and you get a lot of fries for a good price.

Best fries anywhere. If you visit Old Orchard Beach, you have to get fries at Pier Fries. Get a “box” or you’ll be sad you didn’t.

This place has some of the best French fries around. Always stop here when I'm in town. Busy place all summer. Highly recommend this place.

Huge waste of money. Over $20 for a large one-topping dripping with grease. An extra star for the breading being a bit better than expected.
Exceptional location for the best fries on the beach. Seriously not to be missed and expect some really good portion size

Always a hit when visiting OOB! Out of curiosity I asked if the only thing they fried was potatoes (my husband has Celiacs) and was very happy to learn that the fries are totally GF!

Just had my first bad experience at Pier Fries. Fries were way over done, they did however with some coercing refund our money. Bad customer service, bad attitude. I drove over an hour to get some fries for my wife on our almost 42-year anniversary. Oh well, I'll be back despite the poor attitude. The guy taking the cash won't make it in this business for long.

The fries are a tradition here in old orchard beach. They are very good but not exceptional. They do offer various condiments and toppings. We just went with ketchup.
