Always a hit when visiting OOB! Out of curiosity I asked if the only thing they fried was potatoes (my husband has Celiacs) and was very happy to learn that the fries are totally GF!
I lived in OOB for three years back in the early 1990s, and visited this week with my wife. When I lived here I loved going to the "center" on Friday nights for a gyro and Pier Fries... sadly, the gyro food truck is no longer there, but the Pier Fries stand is still alive and kicking. The fries are still fabulous... my only complaint is they only offer white vinegar - IMHO they need to offer malt vinegar, as well. If I still lived in OOB, I'd still be coming here...
This place was next door to our resort so we came here quite a bit during our week stay. Every time we ordered drinks or food it was different quality every time. A few times drinks had barely any alcohol. 1 time getting chicken tacos chicken was horribly dry with no dressing. Popcorn chicken and fries were good though but definitely frozen food fried.
