Maybe they should update online to the fact they aren't even open so people aren't driving there for nothing. Happened to me and another person trying to visit and get some food.

If you are closed for the season or have reduced hours, UPDATE YOUR PAGE or put an outgoing message on your business phone! I just walked four blocks to try you out for an early dinner, it started to pour rain. Your Google page says you are open today!! I tried calling, no answer and no outgoing message! I get there and you are closed! Had to walk back in a downpour getting me soaked through and damaging my phone and car key fob! BEWARE!!! This place is either permanently closed or closed for the season!! Do not attempt to go there, you will be disappointed! Nice move, Pirate jerks!! Inconsiderate!!!

We have known about this place for years, but parking is a serious issue, so we haven't made the effort. This year we parked at the municipal lot and walked up. Went out back to sit outside- beautiful view of the grass and the ocean. It was a warm day, so the beach was packed. Live music playing, this seemed like a nice atmosphere. First table we tried to sit at had a bees nest. Second table- no nest, but plenty of bees. Moved futher down...until the bees came again. Moved inside. After killing 10 on the window- we moved to yet another table. Only had a couple of bees there- but paying attention to the bar, the whole garnish station (both of them) had so many bees buzzing around! The bartender was constantly shooing them away. I understand bugs in an outdoor eating environment, but this was over the top. Got our drinks in flimsy plastic cups, but they were very tasty. Food was nothing spectacular. We got the popcorn chicken (huge order) tacos, and the fish sandwich. It was fine, but not worth trying again. Went looking for the restroom- sign inside said it was outside to the left. Went outside, went to the left- and it was a door for the kitchen. Went back inside, got a waitress- asked her and she just said "outside to the left". I explained again that I was obviously blind since the only door to the left was the kitchen. She finally brought me outside, and pointed to the house next door. My mistake, I did not know I was supposed to go to a different house for the restroom. Not to mention, the inside of the bar was pretty dusty, dirty, and cluttered. All in all- the drinks were the highlight. The waitstaff was all very friendly. Food was mediocre at best. I will not be venturing back.

Food & service was good - but the bees, inside and out - were overwhelming. Felt especially sorry for the bartender working amongst horrific numbers of bees everywhere. The entire building inside and outside needs to be fumigated!Parking: There is no parking available at the restaurant.

Checked online for business hours. Walked about 1.5 miles to get there. Walked in, and they said they were closing early. So, we had to walk 1.5 miles back empty handed.

Great location with a great view over the sea. The food is your standard junk food menu so if that rocks your boat then this is the place for you (try the beef tacos they are extra fatty and salty :-( ). It’s disappointing that they use so much “one time use” plastics for everything - plastic beer cups, plastic cutlery, plastic water cups, plastic straws etc, so if you are at all environmentally conscious then don’t go. Personally we will not be returning. By the way a 18% gratuity fee is automatically added to your bill.

Fun place , but this pirates ☠️ ship has sailed. Good food good service and great entertainment. Also it's a good thing this ship sits in the parking lot cause it doesn't look sea worthy!Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome when accompanied by adults. It is a Pirates Patio at the edge of the ⛱️.Parking: WALNUT ST IS A SHORT STREET WITH FREE PARKING. MOST OF THE EAST AND WEST GRAND STREET PARKING IS PAY. PARKING IN OOB IN THE SUMMER HAS ITS CHALLENGES!Wheelchair accessibility: Open patio seating at tables with umbrellas.

Looking for a fun place to have a drink, something to eat and some great entertainment then Pirates Patio is the place to go, a funky restaurant and bar inside an old ship, along with a sand patio right on the beach. Wonderful staff friendly patrons , just a good time in O.O.B.

Never had a weaker drink. Ordered a double Jack and Coke and literally got a one second pour. Got the wings and all three of us thought they tasted like fish sticks. Not to mention the wings were tiny and $16 for 8. So much for cleaning out the frylaters. Do whatever you can to find another restaurant.
