Rick's Fried Clams

Well reviewing Rick’s isn’t going to be easy. We do stop there to pick up fried dough and sit on the benches right across from Rick’s and people watch the fried dough is very good, the people that take your walk up order are pleasant. What more can you say , it’s a carnival atmosphere.

Delicious and FRESH, made-to-order fish & chips! Fresh & crispy fried food right on the corner of downtown OOB. Highly recommend this for your fried food choice!

Listen: I know it's fried food, I know this is a tourist spot. But I never eat fried anything and I ordered the crab cakes and came back for seconds. It was that good. You can tell everything is homemade, it's super hot and fresh, and the remoulade sauce was great. I only had the crab cakes but I saw other people walking away with fried clams, popcorn shrimp and calamari and it all looked just as hot and crispy and delicious. Suffice it to say, vastly exceeded my expectations for fried food at a "tourist trap." (I wish I had photos, but I ate it so fast there was no time, LOL).

The food was terrible. I feel bad for the employees because I would think having personalities like that would make living in society very difficult.

Order took longer than expected, lobster roll was okay but onions rings were doughy

Went to get whole belly clams they were out so I got a lobster roll that was $28 and the lobster was mushy and had no flavor. Not worth the money. Go to the shack!

I ordered a lobster roll he sells them for $26.95 I was expecting a very big one. He serves them in a hot dog bun a real jokeMy children liked the dessert which looks like beaver tail

Way too expensive for small portions. Tasted like traditional fried beach food, nothing to write home about.

We ordered a big portion of calamari. Service is quite fast, we waited about 10' to be served.However, I think the food quality and quantity is not aligned with the price. It was fat, not crunchy, the squid is not fresh and small portion.

Was a very good place to eat. Their onion rings are the best I've ever had and the same goes for their lobster roll. I'd come to old orchard Beach again just to eat here again.

15$ USD for not so good tender chicken (small portion) and onion rings (small portion) ???

Waited 20 minutes for fried dough, food was good though!

We visited this stand twice during our stay. I got the lobster roll each time and purchased a side of their coleslaw. I’d put the slaw on the lobster roll and eat the leftover slaw afterwards. It was great! My wife got the chicken strips and said they weren’t anything to write home about. My dad enjoyed the crab cakes but said the first day’s was noticeably better than the second.
