I arrived at Elevate 30 minutes prior to closing and ordered hot coffee. I was told that there was no hot coffee because the restaurant was closing soon. I was offered an iced coffee. I can't understand why a cafe wouldn't have hot coffee up until the time that it closes.

Elevate Cafe is the beacon of greatness in a sea of sub-par tourist/vacation food.I try to find the best spots to eat whenever I visit a town that is new to me. There are just too many food businesses where quality has taken a backseat, as the business has found it's market and the owner has emotionally clocked out.When entering Elevate Cafe, I noticed the owner was there working the grill and instructing the staff. The quality of the food clearly meant something to this person. That was my hint that this could be a good spot.I ordered the bacon egg and cheese on a rosemary bagel. I can only say that it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever eaten, and I was surprised to taste something so great in a tourist town. I ate there the following morning as well, because I was convinced that there couldn't be another place that was worth my time.I cannot wait to return to this place when I visit the area again.

Very good breakfast sandwich. Had the bacon egg and cheese on a garlic bagel. Alot of reviews comment on NY style. I disagree. Smaller and less fluffier, however we aren’t in NY. Prices higher in a vacation area. The cappuccino I also had was excellent.

I am genuinely impressed by finding this gem! The food is great (I’ve tried multiple menu items by now) but my favorite go to is either the Asiago Bagels or the Rosemary Bagels. The dragonfruit smoothie is to die for and the iced chai is unique! My family and I come here once a week.The food, the atmosphere, and everything in between just radiates a sense of love and happiness.You have to try this place!
The search is over! A bagel that tastes like a NYC bagel. Latte was great, bagel was probably the best I've tried in Maine. Good sitting room inside, pretty quiet atmosphere.

I don't know why it took me so long to try Elevate Cafe but I am so glad I finally did. Got the veggie and egg wrap. It was perfectly seasoned and very flavorful. Also, got a cinnamon roll and a raspberry roll. They were both delicious. Fresh and soft, not hard and crusty, with the perfect amount of filling and icing. I will definitely be back to explore the entire menu further...?

We saw the cinnamon rolls on instagram and got several different flavors for our rehearsal dinner. They had never done catering before but were happy to help us out and we are so thankful! Not only were they super accommodating for such a large order but the pastries were an absolute hit! Could not recommend them more!

Elevate is an amazing, welcoming, yummy, kind, caring. coffee shop, yoga studio and art gallery. I walked in to get a cup of coffee. I discovered an art gallery that supports disabled adult artists from the area, and bought a beautiful watercolor to take home. 100% of the price of the art goes to the artist. There is a pay it forward board, where patrons can give David or Amanda, the baristers and bakers money, and post a sticker on the pay it forward board and someone in need of food or coffee .The coffee is excellent, the baked equally excellent and the vegetarian wrap was one of my best ever. There is also a Words of wisdom or woe wall to add to or learn from. If I lived in Maine, It would be my local home away from home. I am 79 years old, love coffee shops and Elevate is just about number one on my lifetime list of great coffee shops. ☮️??

The food is extremely delicious i love to have a good cinnamon roll with a nice chai. my only problem is the hours. i wish they were at least until 4 so the kids had a place to go after school that is safe. other than that they are excellent!Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is extremely welcoming I just wish that the hours were a bit longer for the kids to come after school!
