Overcooked my steak (that happened to be the special). They did get me another steak that was cooked appropriately, but very tough. The bartender had the attitude that we were a burden. Never asked us anything. We had to get her attention for everything. She did mention she was filling in & doesn't regularly work there. This is the third time I've been there, and it seems like disappointment after disappointment. Too bad because they are close to where we stay. I do hope to see them succeed. They need to up their food & customer service!

My mom and I stopped in last evening for the first time. Lakeya was SO nice! Super friendly and helpful. Our drinks were great. The wings were amazing. I am originally from Massachusetts and have been in Maine for 25 years and have not found pizza that was better than just ok…until now! If I could have eaten more I would have. We will definitely be back. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️

Awesome food. Tara was an awesome server and we loved the pizza made by the Romanian lady! My partner said it was legit the best pizza he ever had. Highly recommend ???

What great service! The bartender was attentive and personable. She made us feel welcome.
We forgot a phone there and the owner went out of his way to re-open after the restaurant had closed so we could retrieve our phone. This place is a hidden gem; a must visit!

Worst service I have ever had. Period. We decided to sit outside because the inside was extraordinarily loud and stuffy. The outside is very bland and boring but at least not so loud. The water tasted like sewer water and they had no bottled water available which we were willing to pay for. It took almost 45 minutes just to get 2 pizzas served. Then there were the buffalo wings which were my meal that were never served at all even after we were told “They will be right out” multiple times. The other two at the table finished their pizzas, still no wings.

We said we felt we should not be charged for the wings at this point to which the server agreed and said she would take it off the bill. A woman came outside where we were sitting very aggressively and said “What’s wrong here? You’ve been rude since you got here!” She then told us she wasn’t going to compensate for the wings and cancelled the order (keep in mind this is approaching 1 hour waiting for a simple order of wings).

We explained all the issues and her response was “It’s not a big deal!!!” I asked who she was and she shockingly responded that she is the OWNER. What sort of business owner would ever treat their customers like this as opposed to simply apologizing and asking how she could make things better to leave a positive, long lasting impression? The impression was certainly left, loud and clear.

I would not recommend this place to my own worst enemy. I can’t believe any sort of owner would treat its customers this way. At least not one who would want its customers to return or pass along a good word.

Best of luck Local Eatery & Tap. Hopefully somebody with half a brain for business comes along and purchases this place so it can live up to it’s potential.

My friends loved this place but every time i go..the service is awful with the food..we went there yesterday 6 of us..the food took forever..2 of us ate our whole meal before the others even got theirs!!and the food came out wrong for 2 of them..so frustrating..no improvement since last time i was there.so we wont be back!!if you want good service..sit at bar..bartender is good..dont order food

Worst service I’ve ever had in my life

Ordered for the family and was told pick up at a given time. Showed up and waited 25 minutes longer for the food to finally be done.
Meatball sub... Bread was dough, not toasted at all, with rubbery meatballs that were not even on the bread, the cheese unmelted.
Burger... Completely raw and inedible.
Chicken tenders... Burnt and dry
Meatball plate... Missing in action
Chicken salad... Chickenless , no dressing
Philly cheese steak... Technically food.

Awful experience. Don't order takeout from this place..shorted us an order, no dressing with the salad, waiting in the restaurant was one of the rudest experiences I've had... Awful place. Spend your money somewhere else. Cheese wasn't melted in the meatball sub too.

Me and my girlfriend visited old orchard beach together for first time came to this bar for a drink & food. But when we got there it took a while for us to get a drink when we got our drinks, the bartender lady gave us menus but took almost 30min to ask us if we were ready we were already done with our drinks so I asked for another as well as my girlfriend and she said I have to wait till every sip out of my beers gone and also didn’t give my girl a second drink .and then when we were ready to order food she ignored us talking to other customers at bar we waited another 25 min , then she had the audacity to tell my girlfriend where there are cheaper bars down the street . Wich I found wierd so after we ate our food we were ready for billl lady bartender was almost ignoring us again for 20 min had to ask totally different waiter to ask her for my bill I look at my bill it was $47.00.wich is kinda too much to charge?! I’ll never come back here because to end it all me and my girl woke up with really bad stomach aches from food . Don’t eat or drink here?

Soggy Crust, Undercooked and Bulky toppings. Jalapeños ALL OVER without even telling you. Not even edible. The biggest slap in the Face was being charged 30 dollars for that garbage. Especially when I was told over the phone it was 18! Even at 18 dollars I would have been pissed. Pizza was TRASH!
