Great breakfast selections with a large restaurant and weekend buffet. Try the griddled banana bread or blueberry muffin. The pastries and sweets in the deli cases up front may have you bringing home something for later!

This was my first visit to Maine! I'm glad I got to have a quick lunch at Governor's. The onion rings with horseradish sauce were just wonderful! I also had the haddock chowder. It was delicious ?. The haddock sandwich was good, but a little one note. It could have used some additional flavor and texture. Overall though, it was a really nice lunch. And the bakery items looked amazing!!

Service was prompt and courteous with a pleasant demeanor. We asked for a booth and were quickly seated. Our food was excellent with the cheese curds for a starter and then a fantastic scallop dinner with sides that were a meal all by themselves.

Highly recommend the restaurant and location.
