“We did not get to eat but had to come and write just how kindly we were treated. Dewey, the owner, was very apologetic and really didn't have to be. We were touring schools and were tired and exhausted and had no idea there was a hockey game. He took us outside to tell us about the area and offered several other spots to eat. I left saying to my daughter, I think I'd pretty much trust him with our lives. If she ends up in Maine you will have another family of regulars!!“

“My first experience at Utopia was amazing! It was NYE and they were booked solid with reservations. We got there early and they were very kind and let us use a table, which I was not expecting. It did not interfere with anyone's reservations. The food was spectacular as well as the service. I highly recommend Utopia and I love that there were lots of vegan options!!“

“My family and I had lunch on your deck at the Old Town location today. First time as we’ve recently moved to the area. Wonderful experience and we will return. Great food, great service, lovely atmosphere overlooking the river. Peaceful sound of the water flowing over the dam. A+……thanks.“

“Although we had a reservation, it took three repetitions of our name for the hostess to find us. Not a positive start. Our server quickly made up for that (almost). She was competent, got our orders quickly and delivered them promptly. The food was also served timely and was good and hot when it arrived. My personal pizza was sort of dry, maybe over-cooked a bit. My daughter mentioned hers was as well. The others seemed satisfied that their food was okay, and it disappeared pretty quickly. The entire time, our server kept glasses filled and checked back frequently. The restaurant is not cozy. It's a big open place. Not too many tables were filled, so no interrupting nearby conversations. We will most likely go back. It is usually good food, but with Mother's Day, the kitchen may have had more to do so couldn't watch some of the food as well.“

“At Uno's in Bangor, ME yesterday (04/15/25)....My husband doesn't like the chunky sauce and likes the sauce on the bottom....my exact order was marina sauce (not chunky) and sauce on the bottom, no sauce on the top like a regular pizza ....my order WAS repeated back to me correctly. Great, see you in 25 minutes. How'd they do?? Sauce all over the top....it was marina but I specifically asked for the sauce to be on the bottom. Even the tag in the pizza box was correct. When I called them to complain as this is the SECOND time this has happened (first time we didn't call) the manager (who also made this pizza) made all kinds of excuses, this is how we do it, we don't make them with no sauce on the top, try calling in your order next time vs doing it online (this was a call in order not online), maybe explain it better next time, maybe tell them you want it made in the reverse order.... In the end, we still have this pizza, not guaranteed a refund and they've lost us as a customer!! $51 plus a $5 tip for this pizza & a gluten free. I just checked my bank account and I'm not seeing a charge yet so maybe she did refund after we hung up but not sure yet. Very poor customer service, especially by the manager!!“
