I've eaten at the Donald Ross grill twice in the last 2 weeks while visiting the area. I ordered the same thing both times, because it was so good: the Philly cheese steak sandwich and sweet potato fries. Their fries, whether sweet potato or regular, are hand cut and a little crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside-perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. Awesome food and a great view of the Penobscot Valley Country Club golf course. Went to a fun event for the Kentucky Derby this year and they had drink specials and a special menu including an incredible "burgoo" soup that I've never had before.

Late afternoon lunch on a rainy day. The place was empty but they welcomed us with a smile. The Ruben and Buffalo chix wrap were fantastic. Will be sure to come back when we're in town!
