Looking for a great side trip with good local food to look forward to? This is your place. However one major WARNING….. they close shortly after Labor Day so you may have to wait until next season. Plan ahead for a visit when they reopen. You’ll be happy you did.
My grandpa used to take me here when I was a kid, and we continued the tradition on off every other summer or until he passed in my twenties. We’d get the fried scallops every time, and so I still either get those, or a Rueben or even a haddock burger depending on the mood I’m in!
