Delicious lobsters! Couldn't have been any more fresh. The soft shell lobsters were so sweet they didn't need butter or anything added to them. Really glad I found this place.

What an experience!! The owner is the sweetest. My husband and I showed up without any idea of what it was like. She gave us the full experience. Answered our questions and taught us all kinds of things about lobster. Highly recommend. We got a lobster for him and headed to the river front in Bath for a quick little picnic. Very memorable.

From beginning to end, an extraordinary experience. I was born and raised in Illinois, and love thd taste of lobster. My plan is to eat lobster every day of our 17 day trip. So, while visiting Fort Popham, I decided to look for some lobster. We were pleased to see Crabby Lobster nearby. What an experience. Not only did I get expert advice on picking my lobster, but also gained great knowledge about the difference between male and female, how to cook the lobster and where the lobster was from. So, I picked my 1.98 lb lobster, got it steamed, and ate it with a healthy dose of melted butter. This has got to be one of my most memorable experiences thus far. Oh, and the lobster was fabulous! Cooked to perfection without the rubber bands! Certainly the best lobster in Maine!

Sometimes adventuring off the beaten path is exactly what you need and this little lobster stand is the PERFECT example of that.

We found it by accident while we were traveling through the area and we are so glad we did! The owner, whose name we somehow didn’t get, was so welcoming and personable and my partner loved the knowledge she shared as we waited for his lobster to cook. The lobster was fresh and perfectly done, the only thing missing was some butter, but honestly it was yummy just the same.

Her little storefront, where you can find all sorts of little items, was great to look through while we waited. I made sure to buy a couple things 😉 What made it extra special were all the hand crafted items made by the owner, her mother, and 90 year old Grandmother- 3 generations of crafting!!! It just made the whole experience even better.

Thank you so much for welcoming us! We will be back and highly recommend anyone looking for an adventure to find your way to the community of Phippsburg and most definitely to Crabby Lobster Seafood. Dont let the dirt road scare you away…it’s worth the drive!!

We are from Pittsburgh and when we visit family in Maine we always stop here on the way home to bring back lobsters to our family. The prices are much more reasonable then other places weve stopped at. The shop is realy cute and Shelly is always super nice

The lobsters are wonderful here! The facility is rural but very clean and run efficiently. And the lobster is sweet, easy to pick, really tasty.
