We have been coming to stay in a cabin in Phippsburg for years, and I knew there had to be a way to get fresh, local seafood at a reasonable price. Now I know where! The sisters will steam lobsters for about half what we'd pay in a restaurant, and then you go pick them up and bring them home. They also have other merchandise available, including crackers and pickers and hats. But WOW was it good lobster, and at a price I'm very happy to pay. I'm sure we'll be back before we go home again. Along the way to their house is a little farmstand that has everything else you need for a lobster dinner. They will also sell them live, but I am way too squeamish for that!

Way down a country road is this garage that sells lobsters and lots of cute Maine gifts (some local art). Very friendly people living in the adjacent house who are very accommodating.

We stopped at Crabby Lobster to inquire about cooked lobsters for our dinner after a long day of local walks. The lobsters had been caught several hours earlier and we picked our own out of the tank which were then cooked while we waited (we could have called ahead but we enjoyed seeing the entire process while we chatted with the owners about their lobster business). We also purchased butter and a cracker/picker since we are staying in an area hotel and do not have these items. All of this was just under $40 which is amazing for such perfectly cooked, fresh lobster! The owners are so lovely and we enjoyed learning more about their business and life in Maine. Forget buying lobster in a restaurant-this is by far the best way to eat lobster and is some of the best we have ever eaten. Highly recommended and we'll be back for more:)

Fabulous experience. The lobster is amazingly fresh and tasty. The lady who owns the business is super friendly and her husband catches the lobsters fresh daily. I highly recommend purchasing your lobsters from her, as the prices are extremely reasonable. Just call about 30 minutes ahead of time if you want them cooked.

This is the real deal. This family has been mucking about in lobster boats for generations, and they boil their catch on site for a fair price. We came today and they made a small error on our order (one lobster short). They offered to cook up another right away, or to deliver a bigger lobster to our place nearby when it was ready. Though we didn't have time for that, they gave us a refund and offered us two smaller, fresh lobsters in its place, which was really far more generous than necessary. The lobster was delicious and incredibly fresh. My whole family raved at how sweet and perfectly cooked our meal was, but the thing that will forever stick with me is this mom and pop business and their strong sense of hospitality and caring for the customer. I am grateful to have found a hidden gem in Phippsburg, a place my family will come back to every summer.

I called when they opened and picked up 25 lobsters at 5pm for a family reunion. They were hot, delicious, and well packaged to stay warm till we got them home. Both Lisa and Shellie were pleasant and helpful. The shop had lots of cute lobster items for sale too. Would highly recommend to everyone.

I live locally and get my clams from Clam Hunters for all my guests and parties. (This is not a restaurant - you have to cook them yourself). They are always super sweet and very very clean. They have a special process for cleaning the seafood, not just of grit but also bacteria. You can't beat them! They also have several types of local oysters. Great people too.
