Service is always amazing. It can get a little busy during the summer, but there’s a ton of food and handmade things from local vendors to look at while you wait. The Reuben breakfast sandwich is the best thing ever! Highly recommend. This place has become a staple for me and I always enjoy my conversations with the people there!

A few weeks back I stopped in here for the first time and was very happy to find a place with absolutely fantastic bagels. So good I got a dozen and ate them for a couple weeks. Fast forward to this past weekend and I rode up again and got 6 bagels, two everything and 4 onion. That night I made myself a sandwich with one of the onion bagels, took a bite and was in shock. The bagels which were so flavorfully and chewy now had no taste and were crumbly in texture. Literally the worst bagel I have ever had. I also tried one of the everything just to make sure it was not a fluke and had the same result. I am guessing that a bad batch was made. I get it, shit happens. However, it is better to disappoint customers with no food to sell than to sell food to people that may turn off potential new customers. Since I do know they can make good bagels I will definitely go back again this weekend to give it another shot.

Finally had the opportunity to stop and we are exceptionally happy we did. Asiago bagel was 200/10, breakfast sandwiches were top tier and I’m not being overly dramatic when I say the coffee (iced) was some of the best I’ve ever had (this was co-signed by our entire party). Atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful when it came to recommendations. As a local, this is a place I see us frequenting.

Nice community store centrally located, beautifully built and designed. There is plenty of seating upstairs and there are tables downstairs as well as lovely outdoor spaces. The folks working were polite, friendly, and helpful. The food, we were in time for lunch after 11AM, was tasty and prepared as requested. Accompanied by thick homemade style potato chips, my roast beef sandwich was served in a takeout recyclable container. Pickles were neatly tucked under the paper liner of the container thus eliminating any soggy factor. We chose to sit upstairs and were pleased to have our order delivered to our table. Great service! The space was clean and bright with enough space between tables and the comfy couch area that privacy was possible. Clearly a space that encourages people to converse, play board games, and enjoy a relaxing meal. I know they have programs but have never attended any. The space downstairs was full of local products, good food, and humming with activity. If you’re in Poland, Maine, stop by and enjoy!

The coffee is great and the food is incredible. The staff is also super nice and kind. Sarah was an excellent barista, she worked quickly and efficiently and made great coffee. Edit: I went again today and every time I come here I'm blown away by the service. Emily was super sweet when she took my order and Sarah made my drink super well as always. And let me tell you, when Cade brought me my bagel, almost had tears. Heaven knows I needed that French toast bagel 🤌
My boyfriend and I love the breakfast and the lunch! Just split chicken Caesar wrap and a BLT and they were both amazing! They also have a lot of cute things to look at while you wait for your order! Service is amazing, atmosphere is great! 10/10 recommend!

Placed a large Christmas am bagel order on Monday, 12/23 @ 6:50am for pickup at 12:30 pm on Christmas Eve. Received a confirmation email and my card was charged. On Christmas Eve at 12:15 pm I received a phone call stating my order was not filled, they were out of bagels, were closed, they would work on giving me a credit, along with a pretty weak apology. Very disappointed with the customer service. Blamed the online ordering system THEY USE. I realize although they couldn’t fix their error on Christmas Eve at their early closing time they could have offered some concession for their poor customer service. I would not recommend Poland Provisions as a place to order from unless you as the customer follow up to be sure your order went through, on what other establishments are solid with.
