The worst dining experience. The food was very average and the service was extremely poor. For a $200 meal, it was unacceptable. Local family. We will not return and strongly do not recommend.

The Espresso Martini was AWESOME. we ate late after a full day of town, we were two of few in this undiscovered country. I had the chicken sandwich to eat light and it was nice and juicy. My friend had herself a burger to eat light too and she enjoyed it. The chef came out later and chatted with us.; he was a good guy and spoke of how new this place is. Oh forgot the calamari we shared as an appetizer, cooked perfectly iff you don't like eating rubber; nice and tender a beautiful golden brown.

Alto Terrace stands out as a remarkable culinary destination, even to a seasoned foodie like myself. The menu, though succinct, splendidly covers a range of enticing choices. We indulged in the Alto burger, salmon, and ribeye, each prepared with an excellence that speaks volumes of the kitchen's prowess. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a meal this thoroughly. The restaurant's location on the 4th floor of the hotel adds to its allure, making it feel like a delightful secret waiting to be discovered. The atmosphere is a harmonious blend of casual elegance, fitting for various occasions. For anyone with a discerning palate seeking exceptional dining experiences, Alto Terrace is a must-try. It's undoubtedly one of the best meals I've had in quite some time.

Wowza. Quite frankly! The boy with the mullet (jaundice? Jordan? Jason? Whateva.) was so great to me and my wife and also easy on the eyes if ya know what I mean. Ay-oogah! If I ever get married again I’m bringing everyone here for brunch. For now I’ll just tell all my friends about it. Whiskey sour! 3 ply toilet paper! Unbeatable combo.

Visited last night with a party of 8. The restaurant is modern spacious and very comfortable. The food and drinks were excellent, with the best mussels I have tasted in Maine. The chef even came out to ask us if we enjoyed our meal..nice touchWe will definitely be back again.

Staff is amazing!! Me and my husband were staying at the hotel and stopped in here for a drink. Everyone was super sweet and the atmosphere was chill and pleasant. Dimly lit at the tables and well lit at the bar. Modern feel and very clean. We didn't try the food so I can't speak to that. But otherwise would recommend for a drink or two!

Worst experience....it's in a hotel lobby looking at Doritos at the front desk and the breakfast area. Hostess is waitress, no reservations needed...never got appetizer, wine sample was charged a full glass, bar was half stocked, steak was over cooked and sides were bland. Wrong wine was delivered and I cancelled the order....DO NOT COME HERE!

New restaurant and bar in the brand new hotel Cambria. This is a gorgeous hotel bar with lots of seating and a big bar. The patio looks amazing and would be great when the weather is nice. They also have spaces available to rent for events. The service was okay. The food was decent but nothing spectacular. It wasn't very busy as I don't think many people know about it. I gave it a 3 for the food as it was good but could be better. This place has so match potential to be a 4 and will come back to try again!

I was a little hesitant after seeing the other reviews, but I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food, drinks, and service. The brunch was great, and appreciated the attentive server. I will be back.

We had brunch at Alto Terrace Bar inside the Cambria hotel in Portland Maine last week (25 Hancock St, Portland, ME 04101)This spot has gorgeous outdoor seating and a reasonably priced brunch menu. For food we got the blueberry hotcakes the blueberry compote is optional but in my opinion is a must! They give you so many delicious fresh blueberries and they truly made the dish complete 8/10.We also got the egg white veggie omelet with peppers, onions, mushrooms, broccolini, tomato, leek, and potatoes 7/10. This tasted good I think the only comment we had was that we wished the potatoes were cooked a bit more! Finally, we got the classic eggs Benedict with poaches eggs, hollandaise sauce, and potatoes. These eggs were cooked perfectly and overall a great classic dish 7/10.I say if you are looking for a reasonable brunch and a nice view come check out this spot when visiting PortlandFood: 7/10 Ambiance: 8/10 Affordability: 8/10
