Flew in from out of town. Went there on a Wednesday night and enjoyed the local band, beer and bartender. Great atmosphere. Went there on Thursday afternoon and had a great lobster roll, best I ever had. Friendly folks and nice people hanging out there.

This is a fun little place to see some awesome live music. Mostly local bands of all different kinds of skill levels always something fun to hear. The food is very good. They have especially brewed house lager that's quite tasty as well

I visited here from NY. I ordered the American breakfast and it was delicious! The bacon was quality, eggs fresh and plump, fingerling potatoes were cooked to perfection- crispy edges and creamy inside. I ordered a side of sausages to up my protein intake for $5. Not bad! Prices are great, great, great!
I'm a margarita aficionado, but their margarita was not strong or very tasty, seems like they use pre-made mix (who orders margaritas at a pub?! I guess!) I had to order a shot on the side. However, they do have a variety of craft beers for the beers drinkers. Lots of seating area, bartender, Steve, was friendly and attentive. Seems like it gets very busy 💕

My brother and I went to Portland for the first time 4 months ago for a convention with a costuming group. We always try any Irish bar/pub we can when visitng a new location, from the worst of the worst to best of the best. When I say Andy's Old Port Pub is better than any we have been to in 3 years of travling New England together, I mean it. Never have we felt so welcome, so included, and so satisfied with a pub by just walking in and sitting down.
The management was incredibly kind, staff unbelievably welcoming, and even the CLIENTELE were fun to be with which I can NOT say for any other pub/bar. They absolutely attract the right crowd. We were treated as part of the family from the staff, i.e. despite then not having a certain cider I was looking for in bottles, the management offered to sell the last of the keg the had of it per glass that they couldn't get rid of as no body had asked for it in a long time. They had a band playing that night by chance and we still have the band's business card, and as for the clientele our night gave us good friends and great stories to leave with, a few of which were even regulars. If those customers are regulars, Andy's Pub is a GREAT place to make new friends and memories especially for visitors.
Andy's Pub is amazing, and despite Portland having a few good pubs and bars in the town, this is one we absolutely will be going to every time we visit.

This place is INCREDIBLE. Had a shrimp po boy and their clam chowder. Maybe the best I’ve ever had. Definitely the best Cole slaw I ever had. The service was awesome, so friendly and great live music.
