This restaurant was so homey. The decor is inviting, cozy, and full of fanciful touches. The hostess and waitresses were very pleasant. The food options (we went for brunch) were numerous and varied. My selection was tasty and a good amount. The coffee, unfortunately, was NOT hot. And the bread options were limited. But those are my only points of dissatisfaction. I would recommend this restaurant and I would go back.

This is the kind of place with the attitude where the customer is always wrong. It’s not us, it’s you…

This is the kind of place with the attitude where the customer is always wrong… insincerely apologizing and saying it’s your fault in the same breath without any context. It’s not us, it’s you…

This location is a little "outside" the typical tourist haunts - but that let us wait less time for a table than other alternatives. It was worth the short extra walk. The pecan sticky bun was the highlight of our meal, but the rest of our breakfast was really good and reasonably priced for what you got. The service was a little slow - but more "stay a while" than "I don't want to wait on you." The coffee was okay. My cappuccino was excellent.

Food was delicious and well priced. Definitely a salad worth the price! Only one waitress today but still did a great job meeting everyone’s needs!

A cozy little place right in the middle of things. Coffee was delicious, service was lovely. My friends and I all got a different sandwich for lunch and everyone's sandwich was delicious. Got a little jealous of the Fujita though, would recommend

Easily the best french toast I have ever had in my life. Our server was absolutely incredible and attentive, she even gave us a cowboy cookie on the house because she caught us looking over at the incredible display of baked goods. This will forever be a go-to breakfast spot for whenever I am in town!

Walked in, bar was completely open, I was told 15-20 min wait. I respectfully pointed out the bar was completely, and despite nobody else in front of me for the bar, wasn't seated. I left to bring my hunger somewhere else where I would be more reasonably served.

I decided to treat myself to a little date, and took myself out to breakfast. It was quiet, and I enjoyed the egg and sausage breakfast sandwich and a salad. So delish. I also want to mention my waitress, I wish I could remember her name. She was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. If sunshine was a person, it’d be her.

Artemisia Café is a cozy little brunch spot tucked away in Portland. The atmosphere is quiet and low-key—just right for a slow morning. I had the eggs Benedict, and my wife went with the vegan hash. Both were good, though not especially memorable. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the relaxed vibe. A nice option if you’re nearby and looking for a mellow, no-frills brunch.
