I stopped in on a beautiful summer days and got a cappuccino. The coffee was delightful and the ambience was even better. The baristas were wonderful and my friend and I felt very welcoming. I was especially struck by the music when we walked in as they were playing my favorite song. I absolutely loved babas cafe!

I went to Baba’s café while I was staying on peaks Island for a close friends wedding. I ended up getting the lemon tea poundcake. All of their pastries looked amazing and we got there early enough that they weren’t too many people. When we passed by the next day around the same time, it was completely packed. They have a good amount of coffee drinks latte, cappuccinos you name it.

Baba’s, much like it’s name, gives you the warm feeling of going to your grandmother’s for some homemade, scrumptious baked goods. Ask the for the off-the-menu blueberry Macha when you’re there. Thank me later.

Vegetarian options: Lack of imagination, bland, few ingredients. It was supposed to be a Mediterranean sandwich.

Fabulous cafe! Well worth the 3-5 minutes of walking when you get off the ferry to get away from the crowd and come to this treasure of a spot. We actually met “Baba” and her granddaughter who work here. Also don’t miss out on the baked goods - the breakfast brioche was fab.

Kid-friendliness: There’s a ramp so that strollers can come inside. Big win!

We stopped by for an iced latte.. it is one of the best lattes we’ve ever had! Was dark, not watery or bitter. We went back to get another before they closed. They also have delicious lemonade. Note: for baked goods, they shared they sell out early. Lovely interior space. Highly recommend!!
