I've visited Bard Coffee 3 times, and it is the best place for espresso in the Portland area. Every cortado I've had had been spot on perfect, and I've had 3 different baristas. Good tasty treats as well.

Bard provided the coffee that my husband and I served before our wedding on Sunday morning. Maggie and her team did an excellent job considering we didn't give them much notice and how busy they were on a holiday weekend during peak leaf peeping season. I've never seen Portland so busy. Plus, I think we were their first wedding so that's even more impressive! It's definitely one of our favorite spots now.

Freshly ground coffee. You can smell the goodness from a block away. It was pretty busy when I visited but the service was pretty quick. They can even make drinks off the menu.

Visited Portland for the first time and decided to try some local coffee. Despite the blatant anti-conservative political attire one of your baristas was wearing, the other staff was attentive and the coffee was decent.
I will however not be returning when I visit Portland again since my money is obviously not welcome. One and done type deal.

Ordered a vanilla maple cinnamon latte and a pecan cinnamon with whole milk. Their whole milk is outstanding. Best latte we ever had as far as quality and robust flavor
