it is so bad there when you go next to the cheese aisle, is stinks and the employees have attitudes. Can you believe this is so horrible I never coming back there.

Sushi is exactly what you’d expect from supermarket pre-made sushi. The sauce was good but there was way too much rice for the nigiri.

This is my favorite Hannaford location, mostly I think because it's right on the water. If I can smell salt in the air at your location, you get an extra star in my book. It's also well stocked and clean, and the staff seems friendly. There are a few issues, like certain items are kind of tucked away in weird spots - the pasta and pasta sauces take up half a liquor/wine aisle, and the bread is hidden in the same aisle as paper products. But I really like this location. I also want to write about the sushi, however. I liked the old sushi provider Hannaford used, Bento Sushi quite a bit. It was good quality, there was a large, interesting selection at the larger stores, and it tasted good. The new provider, Snowfox, I don't like nearly as much. The pieces are not well put together, the prices are higher, there's less variety. Most? of the california rolls are filled with seafood salad instead of crab stick and the fish in the tuna rolls is shredded up weirdly for some reason. The only good thing about Snowfox is the cute mascot. Bring back Bento Sushi please?

Its Wednesday, February 9th at 7:34pm. I have to start by saying that this is the store I do most of my grocery shopping at and have never had a complaint but something about the experience I just had is really aggravating me. I just went in to get a few things, went through the less than 20 items so not a huge order but it was over $50. and filled a bag. It was NOT busy so the Manager, 2-3 baggers and 3 kids were at registers. I finished paying as my stuff sat at the end of the conveyor belt and my cashier watched as the belt kept pushing things down toward my empty reusable bags. The two baggers joked around with the third (who I think had just gotten off shift) and watched me open up my reusable bag and just kept hanging out. The kicker was when the manager walked through the group walked toward me and watched me start to bag everything. As my cashier pushed the items down toward me he walked right by! LOOK, I'm NOT a Karen, I swear! I'm the first to help my baggers when it's busy but there were MORE THAN 5 people watching me do their job!!! So rude and unprofessional! And for the manager to do it as well! I'm so annoyed!

Hannaford had great salmon especially when it is on sale. Their stocks are not as full as Market Basket since Covid19 struck. I wish they carried Bell and Evans chickens. But as a neighborhood store, it is fine.

Not at all what you would expect from a "grab and go" meal, this Sushi is amazing! FRESH, FRESH, FRESH!!! from the raw fish, imitation crab to the veggies, it all freshly prepared, and very well presented I might add. I would 100% recommend this quick option for tasty Sushi!

Really impressed with this Hannaford. As a Portland area person, of course my first thought of Hannaford is Forest Ave - but since my office moved over to Riverside, I've frequented this Hannaford quite a bit. Sure, their selection is smaller - like, a lot smaller - than Forest Ave, but what they lack in selection they make up for in customer service. The folks at the deli are fabulous, and through all this virus craziness, they've been very clearly diligent about cleaning/sanitizing/ensuring their customers feel they are doing their due diligence. I went through a checkout the other day and the cashier was great - switched gloves between customers, used sanitizer - she was friendly and gracious when I apologized I even had to be there to get anything!! They've got a hot bar, salad bar, bakery, and produce - what else do you need?! They also have a great selection of Amy's organic frozen meals, which is my go-to. Really fab location.

I went here today, still no TP or sanitizer. But, they have most of everything else. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Checkout was a breeze as the store had hardly any customers. Bags were free as well. They have a lot if foodstuffs Walmart does not carry, even though this Hannafords is a much smaller store.

Huge store. Conveniently located in Portland. Large fresh produce area as well as meat counters. Plenty of things to get at reasonable prices. The layout though isn't fantastic. Some areas (leaving produce to the dry goods aisles/pharmacy) are too narrow so you get stuck waiting for people to move. People who don't seem to notice anything around them, because there is very little room in front of them. Shelving is spaced out to be creative perhaps, but what you get is parallel and perpendicular and quadrilateral shelving all making awkward spaces. And the parking is insufficient. But regardless of the spacial issues, it's a good store.

I really liked going to this Hannaford because it was near where I would drop off my compost. I feel like this Hannaford is not setup like the others and I always have a hard time finding things. The few times I've asked for help the person in the aisle was from the distributor and had zero clue about where things were. Like the store but not setup like others.

i was really aggravated during my visit today and i'll tell you why. i was trying to do a quick and easy self check out but this nasty old lady kept interfering. "the kiwi code is 42848284" AS IF I DIDNT KNOW. i usually would be happy with service but after this interaction i don't think i'm returning. i felt so pressured and constipated and this rude dirt bag made it so much worse. good riddance.

I forget that this particular Hannaford exists, but that's about to change. Because - strictly compared to the only other Hannaford in Portland proper (the one on Forest Ave) - this place is absolute heaven! Sure, it's not in the most glamorous of locations, turning in and out from here can take ages because of traffic, and sometimes the parking lot can be full of litter, but I think that's just some magical illusion to prevent hoards of people from coming here, because once you're inside... it's like being you're transported to some Hannaford oasis. It's clean, it's well stocked, it's never overwhelmingly busy, the employees are nice, all of the the self-checkout aisles are turned on and always work, and there's plenty of parking. This particular Hannaford has all their organic and all-natural items clustered in one area, so it's easy to get in and get out if that's your jam since it's not spread out through the whole store. Despite the smallness of this section, the selection of plant-based items is impressive! For the amount of time I wait in line at the Forest Ave Hannaford, I'd rather just drive out to the Riverside location: it's a much, much more pleasant, satisfying, and easy going experience!

They have the majority of what you need, but not always the selection you desire. Pharmacy hours are great. Plenty of parking as well.
