We ordered linzer cookies and hot cross buns for Easter and they were amazing! I have been a baker for many years so I am not easily impressed so I really appreciate the quality of your product!

Got a ciabatta loaf, incredible flavor and excellent texture. Would go again without hesitation.

Viva Italiano might be the best stand alone cold sandwich you can buy in Portland. These guys crush it!

The heartiest "sausage, egg & cheese" sammie you'll find in town! Buttery and delicious!

Totally authentic and delicious sesame challahs. Excellent hamantashen for Purim. And they make a solid turkey panini as well. Ciabatta rolls also excellent. Good bread is hard to find in Portland but Big Sky is one of the greatest contenders. (This is coming from a Jew from Brooklyn)

5 stars for the service and the bread, 3 stars for this location. We love the other Big Sky Bread, with so much variety and space. Sadly, this location is very limited. Their hours are limited, and their selection of bread is even more limited. Every time I go the only thing they have is regular white bread or wheat bread, but nothing else too exciting. Thankfully the staff has been great, so if I request something specific they can usually have it for me the next day. I know they also do sandwiches, so maybe they are better in that regard, but if you are going hoping to buy a specific bread type, I'd go somewhere else. Tip: They have punch cards. For every loaf of bread you buy, you get a punch (double punch on Mondays). Every 12 punches, one free loaf of bread!

Rude and lazy staff. Won't go back.

Iove getting the turkey club on lunch break, friendly service and delicious food. Not many good sandwich shops in Portland, this one takes the cake !

Very disappointed with Big Sky Bakery. Ordered 2 round challahs for the holiday, paid for it over the phone and then they could not find my order. Outcome was receiving a credit and NO challah for us. Not great customer service at all.

They usually have a pretty big volume for such a small place most workers seem to work really hard but this one bigger guy who usually wears a bandana moves at a snail's pace everytime I order food there I hope he doesn't prepare it for me cuz he takes forever don't know how he still works there other than that great place to get food prices are good foods great

Ever since the tourists went away. The pastries here have been bland and uninspired? A plain scone with a handful of chocolate chunks? That's just lazy.

After asking if their bread was dairy free they said they didn’t know so I had to look at the ingredients for myself to see. Noticed the loaf was dairy free so I then ordered a turkey club, on their menu no where did it say cheese. Just turkey lettuce tomato and mayo! so I asked that the bread not be buttered due to milk allergy, they said they didn’t butter the bread- PERFECT! I ate half of my sandwich...started to feel sick so I saved the rest for later. Opened it later and noticed that under the turkey there was cheese. My vacation might just be ruined due to this ?
