They have hardcore shows.

Unfortunately until Blue decides to believe survivors and stop protecting abusers, I cannot recommend this venue.

Blue is THE spot for musicians and music lovers in Portland. The vibe is always welcoming and friendly, and it’s a great place to become part of this tight-knit community.

I love this venue. They are a local nonprofit who honestly give the most support to artists pursuing their craft.

They really make you feel like family because they love the arts regusrdless if your a musician, comedian, karaoke enthusiast.

I’m a a stand up who moved to Maine 2 years ago and since the fist time I stepped on their stage it has been my favorite room.

Definitely stop by for one of the many shows they host every week.

Impeccable vibes always with an eclectic variety of music and events from jazz to burlesque to hardcore and everything in between. The sound quality is some of the best in Portland largely due to owner Andrew’s dedication and expertise in leading his team of sound techs. Owner Celeste brings warmth and creativity to any room she enters and you can see her whimsical touches in every nook and cranny. You know what rhymes with cranny? Hanny. And you won’t want to miss her karaoke. No one does it like she does and I mean that. The bald bartender is very elusive and mysterious but makes my favorite martini in town.

I have already spoken to the owner NOT A SAFE SPACE I GOT DRAGGED ACROSS THE FLOOR

Austin Beltrand

Very hippy-dippy but enjoyed the strong LGBTQ presence and the jazz was great. Decor seemed a little piecemeal. Good bar service.

Great community spot for Beautiful music

Blue has quickly become my go-to spot for live music in Portland. Since moving back to the area, I’ve searched for spots with real heart and soul, and Blue absolutely delivers. The music is consistently excellent, with a vibrant, eclectic mix of local artists and touring musicians. There's something for everyone at Blue. But what truly sets this place apart and keeps me coming back is its community-driven spirit and the genuinely passionate people who make this place what it is. The vibes are always just right. Can’t recommend it highly enough!
