BP's Shuck Shack

If you love oysters, you have to try BP's. We were looking for a restaurant but realized it was a food stand! The experience was great. The quality of the oysters is out of this world. He knows everything about his oysters . Cash or credit so no worries. We ended ordering 2 full dozen. I would definitely go back again if I ever in the area. Highly recommended.

I first met BP years ago when he was just starting his push-cart oysters in Portland and fell in love. His quality, passion, and eye for oysters is un-paralleled. Out of the 3 days in Portland, we stopped at BP's 2 times; as a matter of fact, we went out of our way to go back! At first, we thought it would be just a funny experience to try an oyster from a side cart, but we soon learned that they were some of the best oysters we've ever had. Very knowledgeable about the oysters we received too (Moondancers were delicious!!!) Reasonably priced at $15 for a half dozen and $27 for 12. Worth the stop!
