I ordered from the kiosk, which severely limited customization options but was otherwise okay. It wasn't until after I ordered that I noticed that a single employee was expected to handle *everything* at this location. Despite his heroic efforts, he was way behind on orders, and when it finally came time to make my order, he informed me he was out of 2 of my items (out of 3). To his credit, he offered to make me whatever he had for no extra charge, but that really wasn't a good deal for me. Five stars for this guy, who stayed positive in a work environment that borders on abusive.When I asked for a refund he called his supervisor, who eventually showed up but had to call a second supervisor in order to work the system. In the end my order was supposedly voided, but I'll just have to wait and check my credit card later to be sure.Everyone kept their cool and was friendly, which earns a second star in such a poorly run business. But in the end I lost half an hour and gained only an extra chore. My visit was significantly worse for having tried to order food here.Owners/managers: even captive audiences have standards. Please have some as well!

They had no burgers, so that was lameIt's Burger King - it's in the name!But the chicken sandwich was goodDeep frying is their sport.I enjoyed it as one should - On the floor of the Portland airport.

There were long lines everywhere for food, so we decided to try Burger King. Waited forever to order and again to get food. They have no ice and then closed shortly after we got our food because they didn’t have help! Airport is nice but better eat before you get here.

The bad reviews posted by other people had me worried, but I had a pretty decent breakfast (and no problems) at 8:30 AM on a Wednesday.In the mornings, they just have one employee working (I assume she's the manager) and she is both your cashier and your cook. She did a good job on my breakfast, and I enjoyed it.Later in the day, a second employee comes in to help with lunch rush time.

I ordered the impossible burger as that’s the only vegetarian thing. It was horrible. It reminded me of a cold raw hamburger. It wasn’t even warm?! The cheese (added $1+) wasn’t the slightest bit melted. Probably the worst hamburger related experience in memoryVegetarian options: Terrible

today me and my friend got a burger from this Burger King, the cheese had what looked like bite marks and 9 hours after we ate it our stomachs are still hurting. I threw up 17 times and shit my pants screw this place.

Hours are very spotty, so don't assume they are open daytime hours. Service is not 'fast food' rated so allow time. And of course no coupons or specials, bring $$$

Waited over 30 minutes for two whoppers and a chicken fry. Had to choose between getting the food and getting on my plane. Chose the plane. No food and BK owes me $17.31. Not busy and not understaffed.

It’s never open. Closed at noon on a Wednesday, closed at 6 on a weekend. When does it ever open? They don’t like to make money.

Cooking and serving staff at the Portland Maine Airport are friendly and efficient, great to work with! But only one kiosk is working and because of the lack of menu signage and lack of instructions as to how the kiosk works, we waited in an unnecessarily endless line. It’s tourist season; and the majority of folks aren’t used to kiosk ordering. Please add menu signage so folks can decide what they want before they get to the kiosk and how about a video screen w a demo of how to work the kiosks? Thanks.

After placing our order (which was a fiasco in itself), we waited along with 15-20 others for what seemed like 30 mins. The orders ahead of mine were wrong but the 2 girls working didn’t seem to have a clue what was going on.After realizing we weren’t going to get our food anytime soon and knowing we had 10 minutes till boarding, I requested a refund.One of the girls had to call a manager, whom I suppose was on break. While the manager attempted my refund, the 2 girls and one gentleman argued about who was the problem. At the counter, arguing!Mind you, no one was making food! 15 - 20 customers were all just standing by asking what the hell was happening. And during this, one of the only 3 behind the counter said she was going on break!!! And left!!!!I’ve never experienced anything like this! Just absolutely insane. And I still haven’t received my refund so I’ll have to call my CC company to dispute the charge.

When 20 or so people were waiting for food, they all just stopped working. Stopped making food. Gave up. Said they were done but no one was going to get refunds. Never seen anything like it. Eventually the manager showed up and gave refunds to anyone who waited.
