We had the best breakfast sandwich in Portland. It was panini style, with fresh eggs, cheese, avocado and tomato. We met the owner, Andre, who was incredible. Great people and great food. A must try.

The Beef Sambousa’s off the charts delicious. Had to turn around to get more. Oat milk latte was great. My next visit to Portland will definitely include a stop for more.

The reviews didn’t lie, this place was VERY good. Excellent coffee. Breakfast sandwich was pretty standard but delicious. I talked to the owners, super sweet couple, and they said they were adding gluten free bread soon for their breakfast sandwiches and avocado toast. Location is a little subpar, and could improve the decor/vibe, but worth the visit!

We loved our coffee and avocado toast, so easy to mess up but it was just perfectly simple, and huge! We also got treated to some welcoming chatter with another patron and the barista. Loved it!

Reviews were not wrong, delicious coffee here and warm friendly staff! Had oat cold brew, so good! Vegan options include their avo toast (which I have to come back for!) and veggie sambousa. I asked about it and the filling is vegan but I would double check the dough just in case it accidentally has dairy in it. They have almond and oat as their milk alternatives.

Large coffee I paid 4.43
It’s good coffee! not quite as good as Starbucks in my opinion but waaay more expensive than starbucks. I certainly was disappointed and cannot justify coming back.

We were staying at a nearby AirBnB and decided to give Burundi Star Coffee a try! The coffee and food were both excellent, being able to cater to the needs of both a vegan and an omnivore. The service was also wonderful and my partner and I felt very welcome. We will definitely be back when we’re in the area.
