This is one of my favorite spots to take someone if I want to be absolutely positive they'll be wowed. My favorite dishes were a whole mackerel special and the coq au vin. I've also had more adventurous dishes like head cheese here! It's an incredible and unique restaurant.
Chaval has been a pillar of the neighborhood for years now and continues to deliver! The owners and staff are awesome people, always kind and helpful. The food is fantastic! One of the few places in town that actually does as good a job with vegetarian dishes as they do with meat dishes. A++++
