I ADORE China Taste. They are so nice and they make the best Chinese food take out in Portland. Fantastic pick up and delivery and they are so generous. We probably have ordered from them at least 1x month for the past 5 years and it’s consistently exactly what we want. Thanks for all the great food over the years, will continue to order regularly as it never disappoints!

I was looking for somewhere for lunch as I work in the area and wanted something different. I’d never heard of China Taste but am so glad I stopped here! Frankly I think most Chinese food restaurants in the Portland/Gorham area are just okay, but this lunch was AWESOME. I got the lunch special with General Tso’s, crab Rangoon and pork fried rice with a soda, and holy COW. Everything was fresh, good portion sizes, and delicious. Probably some of the best Chinese food I’ve had and it looked beautiful — I literally HAD to take a photo haha. If you’re in the area for lunch, get your takeout here! I’m excited to do takeout for my family for dinner some night.

I wasn't expecting much with 3.9 stars, but it definitely was much better than that. I am somewhat of a good critic myself, but it was top notch for take out chinese. Everything on the pupu plater was great, with the exception of the beef teriyaki being a little tough. Not a big fan of spare ribs, but these were fantastic. Usually they seem fatty when I order from other places. When they say they'll be ready in "15 minutes...they really mean it. Definitely worth it.

Did ownership change or something?! This place was my go to for over a decade. The last few trips have killed that for me. This time was the worst yet. Ordered fried wings and orange chicken with other stuff. The fried wings were partially raw. Couldn’t eat them. Orange chicken was the opposite. Way overcooked. It had huge chunks of orange peel in it. Found myself gnawing on a rind. I know zest in the dish is normal, but this was much bigger pieces. Everything had the taste that it had been made earlier and reheated. Dinner for two was $65 and it mostly ended up in the trash. I’m really sad for this old favorite gone way downhill.
