I absolutely love stopping here for food and drinks. It’s easily overlooked for not being as scenic as other locations but you’d be missing out. Great easy parking, dog friendly, awesome service, really good food and cocktails, and a great ambiance. I love bringing people from out of town here but I also come here as a local just bc I enjoy it.
Parking: There’s a few street parking spots right next to the restaurant and then a bigger gravel lot very close by with lots of additional parking

This place was awesome! It would be fun to come back when the weather is a little warmer and enjoy the outdoor seating. The food was 1,000% delicious. Worth every penny.

It will bey go to place when I am in Portland. Parking is easy, the food is awesome and the service was friendly and attentive. I used to live in Portland and the city has changed. The Calm Bar was what I remember the best of what Portland can be. Check it out.

Cool place to dine .I like the atmosphere. The food is ok . The clam chowder is not the usual New England style but is very tasty. The steamer is must . Very friendly service. Have a decent selection of alcohol beverages.
Parking: Off from the main Commercial Stree. Not asmany tourists as those restaurants by the water front. Very quint restaurant with beer garden. Unfortunately, the beer garden only open on weekends.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely can bring kids here. Plenty of space for them to run around.

Super cute place, good vibe. Great place to have a drink or two.
Food was disappointing. Had crab cakes, chowder, fries, and clam roll. Fried foods were very greasy, crab cakes were more like hush puppies.

I'll never go back and that's disappointng because it's a nice outdoor spot concidering it's a side of the road opperation and more appealing than many I've drivin by over the years. The young lady who was taking orders at the counter, was the very best!
However, the lobster roll my daughter ate had at best 2 ounces of diced meat and the roll was stail. She didn't finishe it. I had the fish & chips. It was not fresh but greasy and terrible as well. The coleslaw was way to sweet with to much mayo and on the warm side. The fries were on the cool side. The ice tea was fine.
This lunch cost me $65. Very pricey concidering theres no atmosphere and on the side of the road.
Never again!!!
PS: This is the first time I've ever left a review on google. I know it's not a perfect world but I was looking forward to a quaility lunch with my daughter who just flew in from the west coast which I havent seen in over a year.
