Stopped in after driving by on our way out of Portland. Loved the set up, but not the food. The clams were overdone and very chewy. The lobster roll was warm buttered, with an Asian flair. I'd rather have just a plain cold. The Cole slaw was very good, but was just dropped on top of the hot fries. It should be served separately as it was very difficult to eat. Nice spot, but food was very disappointing.
Clam roll was just OK and clams were overdone. Accompanying sauce and tartar sauce too spicy. Fish & Chips = disappointing. Fish was tender, but lost in a very thick, not great tasting batter - all overcooked. We saw the couple next to us also throwing away most of their fish&chip meal. Service and atmosphere are great. Please reconsider the fish batter and don't over-fry! For the food quality this was overpriced.
Slightly off the beaten path but absolutely worth it to get there and experience it. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by an extremely friendly and personal young man. He answered all our questions and made the process wonderful! They serve you your drinks/cocktails as soon as you place your oder so that you can find your table and relax while your fresh food is made. The atmosphere...
