Coffee and pastries are amazing, but what really got me was the environment. As I was sitting and enjoying my coffee, I see customer after customer walk in. The employees know every one of them, it’s like a little community. You can see the joy on both customers and employees faces. This is definitely the place to go if you’re looking for more than a coffee

I stopped here as I was passing through Portland on my way back home from a vacation I took up to Bar Harbor. I am glad that this was the place we came across. This coffee shop even has such a clever and unique name. It was Mid-August when I was there, so I was able to grab a Pumpkin Latte which actually happened to be my first one of the season. And as a HUGE Pumpkin fan, this was up there with some of the greatest cups of Coffee I have ever had! I also picked up a breakfast sandwich which tasted amazing.

I used to live down the street from this coffee shop many years ago, when they first opened. I would stop by as often as I could, it was always so good. Today I was in the neighborhood and stopped by for the first time in over 5 years. Not only did I receive the same great latte but I ran into the owner and he instant recognized me, called me by my name and asked about my life like no time had passed. Whatever you order, I promise it will be delicious. Please support this family owned business!!!

I have run my own coffee shop in ft Lauderdale for over 30 years. We pride ourselves on having the absolute best coffee we can. Because of our quality ingredients almost never drink anyone else's coffee Because I'm usually very disappointed.... I'm maine this week I really needed an espresso so I stopped at this unpretentious spot.... to say I was not disappointed is just plain understating my experience. The espresso is all I tried but I was so pleased with the quality and flavor.i was delighted to actually have a great espresso. The staff was friendly also. If you think you've had a great espresso stop in coffee me to compare. They are spot on and you will have a standard to judge by after your visit.... edit..I have been coming here all week and I pass quite a few coffee shops to come here. Today I had food I actually had a nibble before I came but when I saw the breakfast sandwich special I had to get it. It was probably the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Really really interesting. Again I highly recommend this place.. and thanks for the hug mateo

We’re not from this area, but every time we visit, we come here every day for coffee. I’m a bit of a coffee snob, and this is my favorite in Portland. The staff is so friendly and kind. Also, for anyone who needs gluten free options, they have some delicious gluten free wraps. We bought a bag of coffee beans to bring a bit of the coffee home with us. Love this place!

Portland is a gem for cozy coffee spots but the ones that stand out owe their superiority to the people behind the counter. I love the ambience, music and food here. The bowls are unreal, so underrated, (my favorite is the power bowl) and they have options for everyone (gluten-free, vegan, veggie). I love how they greet you when you enter and they are always happy to help with extra condiments or add ons and deliver with a smile. I really appreciate this spot for studying or a stop after a run.
