Food was great. I believe that it should be split up so that there’s a dining section closed off somewhat from the bar section for people who don’t want to be subject to loud screaming and sports playing 24 seven but if that’s your scene great place to be outside of that. The food was outstanding. The wait time wasn’t very bad. The food came out fairly promptly just be warned when you go. It’s not a restaurant. It’s more of a pub/bar as listed so if you’re expecting to walk into a restaurant with Fine seating, that’s not the case however, the food is reflected of a great restaurant style dining experience if you’re looking for good food in the South Portland area that’s the place to go although if you want a quiet dining experience, I would recommend ordering ahead and just picking it up the chicken Parmesan Was on point had wonderful options and made great also wife had the fish and chips she rather enjoyed could not eat. All of either plate was a very large amount of food homemade garlic bread was amazing. Also we had a appetizer of fried pickles and it felt like we ate a jar of pickles between the two of us, but they were amazing and the sauce they used was also good

Had lunch with a friend today at Coppersmiths. The lobster stew was absolutely delicious full of lobster meat, you can't beat the price at 14.00 a cup. Danica was a wonderful bartender, very friendly and a great server.

It was very loud, and not real easy to chat. The drinks were expensive and seemed quite watered down.

They have the best cheese steak outside Philadelphia. The poutine is amazing too. Tried the fish once and it was meh. Great take out too.

Flying out this late afternoon and did a search for a very generic Restaurants on the ‘Googler’! Coppersmith Tavern with American Chow sounded like a great local place to try out.
What a great experience. Amazing Food, Great service, and some great friendly patrons to visit with. And the playlist!!!! Pink Floyd -> Moody Blues -> Bob Dylan -> Bob Seger and more. What a great time.
My Maine Haddock Fish & Chips were exceptional. Great experience. Great Faire. Great Service.
A late afternoon stop before hitting the Jet Port should be mandatory for any passengers ready to depart with an amazing Taste of New England!

Nice local place with good food, decent pub style menu and plenty of beer choices. Generous portions at reasonable prices.

PDG for a little neighborhood venue. Bar on one side of the wall and simple tables and chairs on the other. Had the fish and chips that was, surprisingly, quite good.

Food was delicious- would recommend on food only- service by the bartender working on 10/15/25…… absolutely horrible…. More concerned about getting attention from 6 dudes sitting at the end of the bar instead of actually waiting on people. Was very rude and condescending to not only us but all the people at our end of the bar. Had to ask another waitress for a box because asking ours (the bartender) for the check even seemed to tick her off….. worst service. Should have done table service- those waitresses seemed much nicer
Ok food and atmosphere. Service was a bit slow for as many customers there were.

Can't rate food as we did not get to eat. Went at 1pm on a Saturday for lunch, and they only had brunch. Super disappointing on a Saturday. I don't understand why no lunch options.
I was at coppersmiths earlier this evening with my husband and I will not be back. Service was terrible and the food made me sick, drinks weren’t great either. Spent over 100$ and this is what I get. Shame it’s not the same as it use to be. Good luck :/
It's a great place for food and drinks, the food was extraordinary, and if you have Google maps leading the way it's not terrible to find....
Start off by saying, DO NOT EVER GET FOOD from this place, let alone a pizza or wings!!!
Here’s my pizza, or bread with a splat of cheese thrown onto it. It literally isn’t even cut into pieces, and obviously I tried calling back to return and no one is picking up the phone. Who serves this to a customer?
As for the 20$, 12 wings, they were the smallest, and almost entirely legs for most part.
The woman on the phone didn’t know how to take an order so she passed it off to Lauren, who was friendly and I believe she brought me over my food. Anyways, only good thing was how nice Lauren was, the food was horrible, and i’m stuck with this. Honestly the worst food I’ve ordered in over a year.
I even said i’d leave a nice review before I ordered, and you guys cant even cut this “pizza?”
Unbelievable, and embarrassing enough that I tried calling 2 (Twice) to return, and nobody will pick up the phone.
Refund would be the bare minimum here! Extremely upset and disappointed.

We ordered the stuffed tater tots, steak and cheese sub with fries, and a garden salad. Very delicious food. Calming atmosphere even when it’s busy, and great staff. I believe the bartender was Liz? Super sweet and made our experience wonderful. New tater tot appetizer was delicious.
I came here for my usual chili and fries and was sad to learn that they no longer serve chili, but other than that everything was great! They also have WiFi!
This used to be my favorite spot to come read a book at the bar and eat some lunch. <3
