100% the best team of people in the Portland service industry. Walking in, you get greeted by not only a cheerful woman working the register, but the entire kitchen as well. The aromas of peppers and onion grilled on the flattop enter your nostrils as you breathe in the friendly atmosphere. Their breakfast sandwiches are on par if not better than the Brooklyn bodegas I'm used to. This place is hidden and the perfect surprise to any unexpected foodie or just a simple food lover. If I'm not a regular in the next few months, I've either moved or disappeared:)

I work downtown and visit here when I can for the burritos, Mac and Cheese…oh right and the best of all-the cookies! Always friendly and they know how to keep it moving. Give them a try if you can!

Just popped into this cafe for an early lunch and heck yeah, they deliver on a really good fresh sandwich. I had the BLT (no microwave bacon here!) with perfectly crisp bacon and just the right amount of crunch and toastiness to the bread. Tomato bisque was solid for a warm soup on a cool day, bit that biscuit it comes with is the bomb dot com for biscuits. Really friendly service as the cherry on top. Highly rec this place for an affordable quick lunch option.

Cote’s is the best place for lunch in Portland. They not only have incredible, fresh food but serve it with a smile. Jason and his team are incredible.

Big love to Cote's! For all the businesses downtown, there really aren't that many quick breakfast and lunch spots. Cote's fills in a nice niche, and they are incredibly friendly and kind. The owner learns every regulars name and order. The breakfast burrito is fantastic - probably the best fast breakfast downtown. Cote's is in the bottom floor of One Portland Square, so it's a little hidden, but convenient once found.

Tried a new place for eats in Portland in-between jobs and found Cote's Café in the 1 Portland Square building. They had decent reviews for their breakfast sandwiches. I opted for a burrito. Which comes standard with fresh tomatoes, home fries, a choice of salsas, and various meats (or alternatives) to pick from. The burrito alone would bring me back anyways, but they also serve Coffee By Design, AND the staff was really friendly and all thanked me for visiting. So that gets a positive review ?☕??

I have only been here once so far but will come back for sure. I was looking for a place downtown with a salad bar and soup options and found Cote’s right next door to my office building. They also have many breakfast options, burritos, and more. I ended up ordering the French onion soup grilled cheese sandwich and it was SO good. So. Good. I’ll get salad next time (maybe).

I've been working upstairs from Cote's for a year and a half and had only heard wonderful things about them, so I had been looking forward to trying them out for the first time. HOLY COW. This sandwich was SO good that I immediately had to come here to write a review. This was a chicken Caesar salad on their honey wheat bread (custom order placed online). I can't get over how delicious this was. I could eat 6 more, but I guess I'll have to wait until next week. Don't hesitate to get to Cote's, the price is right for the gigantic, wonderful sandwich you get out of it!
