Fantastic food and service from top to bottom. The crispy duck and lobster ravioli are a must try. Best place to eat in Portland!

We sat in a lovely small room in the rear part of the restaurant. The food was very good starting with the fried calamari that had a white balsamic drizzle. Our dinners were the duck and open faded ravioli with seafood. The duck was well prepared and had a cherry glaze. The open faced ravioli had lobster, scallops and shrimp in an incredibly rich cream sauce all on top of ravioli (they were a little thick but delicious. We enjoyed garlic knots as well.

Our experience was way above expectations. We had the arroncini starter special, green salad and Margherita pizza. Love that they offer 9 or 6 oz glasses of wine. Our server was terrific. Everything seamless. Despite the restaurant being good sized, the way they've set it up made all the spaces feel cozy and quiet. Highly recommend.

The food and customer service were absolutely stunning. While the exterior might appear a bit unassuming given its Portland location, stepping inside was like night and day—it's truly a great restaurant. Based on our experience, I will definitely recommend this place to many of my clients and look forward to booking again very soon. A+ Restaurant

Table for 5 to eat with foodie old friends in Portland, hello David's with great food, an excellent and helpful waiter in Nelson and more. Meatloaf if famous in my book and our friend cleaned his ravioli sauce with the garlic knots !

We were in a rush to catch a show and they made sure we got out on time. Food was excellent. Wait staff amazing. Lobster roll was simple and delicious! Cod was crispy. Tomatoes ripe!

A fabulous dinner on a warm summer night. We had the mussels for an appetizer which were insanely delicious…. We were obsessed with the broth and ate it like soup once the mussels were gone. The waitress told us that many people request their leftover broth “to go” so that they can try to duplicate it at home. My husband had the special seafood fra diablo (which he is STILL talking about 2 days later) and I had the open faced lobster ravioli which was packed with lobster meat, shrimp and scallops! So yummy. We had crème brule for dessert and have both remarked how glad we are that we found this gem of a restaurant. Bonus that we didn’t have to wait, when many other places had a 3-4 hour wait for a table. It was well worth the short walk up the hill to monument square!

Owner spends more time raving about the homeless population in Portland than helping their prep chefs. $50-100 a person next to multiple dining options literally in their own building are better suited for people who haven't visited Portland before.

Food and service both excellent.

We were at a bachelorette party and had an amazing experience with Liz! She was attentive, kind and professional. The same cannot be said for the manager Charity, she was RUDE and made us feel uncomfortable.

The food was amazing. Drinks were delicious. Liz was incredible. Charity was …. less than average.

The menu is not expansive but the execution is excellent and the service and front of house staff are great. Noisy for normal conversations.

We had the garlic knots, the brie, and the steak medallions. Took cheesecake home. It was all delicious. Service by Dan was also great.

We were two couples out for a nice summer evening. Sat outside, which was lovely. Appreciated the lovely display along with the baked brie appetizer, with red grapes and a delicious baked bulb of garlic. For entrees we were impressed with the crispy duck and tuna sashimi. Our server was kind and unrushed — which we greatly appreciated. It was both distracting and fun to have multiple loud, happy groups passing by and one sitting next to us. Creme brûlée with maple amaretto candy top was amazing for dessert. We split it four ways.
