Daniel, our server, was pleasant and helpful with advising us on the menu. I had the beef carpaccio appetizer and the beef tenderloin au poivre, which were both delicious and amply proportioned. My partner had the wedge salad and “open-faced” lobster ravioli, which was inventive and delicious as well
Excellent food. Noise level pretty loud and music should be turned down a bit when the place is filled with diners.
I love the variety of choices and the pricing seemed practical and designed to meet customers honestly at a variety of price points. And all the food was delicious!
Always a treat to eat here when we visit the city. Consistently great food, attentive team, and fun atmosphere.
Interesting food choices, good specials and well paced. The meatloaf is excellent and the specialty drinks enjoyable. Overall Avery good experience
Very nice atmosphere and service. We had a later dinner so many other guests has finished. Delicious food amd desserts!
Started with the garlic knots. Not sure if those were supposed to be warm, but those came out cold. Worst fried calamari I've ever had in my life. Came out cold. The pot stickers came out ice cold as well. They tasted decent, but I wish they had any warmth to them. Just completely underwhelmed by this place.

Bad policies lose repeat customers. We have been repeat customers at David’s and hosted a dinner there the night before our wedding to welcome our out of state family and bought a gift certificate there for our officiant. All 12 of us showed up to the restaurant… then one of the kiddos was vomiting from food poisoning so his mom brought him to the hotel. We eat and then we got a $51 fee for the ‘no-shows’ even though they showed up and had to leave, which we explained to the waiter.
Pros: good food mostly and atmosphere
Cons: when you enter the restaurant the host desk is between the kitchen and the restaurant, so there is nowhere to be out of the way of irritated waitstaff.
The vegan option was embarrassing. My sister asked for the tomato salad with lettuce and there were about 5 lettuce leaves decorating the plate.
Yes, I did reach out directly to try and resolve the fee and they declined to work with me.
That weekend we spent about $600 at David’s and won’t be back. I

Food was really great. Good selection of entries. I had cod, my partner salmon. They have an online reservation system to hold tables for a certain time.

Arrived early, ordered some drinks at the bar. Drinks were good, service was good. Settled for a hightop table, due to slow pace of diners. Food was very good and the staff were friendly

David's was a suggestion by a couple of people and we are so glad we listened! The staff was polite, the chefs were incredible to watch, the food was delicious and we loved our experience overall.
Great food and service! Also not super packed so easy to eat and stay until your ready to go
Proteins on the entrees were all cool to the touch. The steaks (3) all arrived cool and with sauce. Requested sauce on side. Apps - ok. Carpaccio had a lot going on. The pot stickers are on menu and read as beef but it's an arugula salad with beef and a few stickers mixed amongst the leaves. Very odd. Not good value. For $50 an entree it was far from worth it. Surprising since I dined there multiple times back in January and February and it was phenomenal. Something's changed.
Everything was wonderful the moment we entered the restaurant. Busy open kitchen, superior wait service, delicious meal from start to dessert!
Food was excellent! My husband and I split ravioli with shrimp, lobster and scallops. Cooked perfectly and the sauce was unbelievable! We sat at the counter and it was so great watching the cooks in action. I could have sat there for hours! We had short conversation with a staff chef and he took the time to explain the concepts and other restaurants the owner operates. I would highly recommend this place to friends traveling here as I don't live here. If you live in the area you need to make it a favorite place!
